Welcome,
This is three rounds of relaxing breath work.
I recommend doing this practice lying down so that you can enter the deepest state of relaxation possible.
We will start with a slow tutu rhythm and the rhythms will get progressively slower from there,
Helping you ease your way into rest and relaxation.
So make yourself comfortable,
Close down your eyes and let's begin.
Release all the air from your lungs,
3,
2,
1,
In,
2,
Out,
2,
In,
2,
Out,
2.
Just smooth breaths,
No force here.
This initial rhythm is simply here to help set you up for the slower rhythms to come.
Just a few more here.
And now take a deep breath in,
Hold your breath.
Now release into relaxation,
Hold at the bottom.
Bring your awareness to your face,
Invite the muscles of your face to soften.
Invite any gripping in your hands and your feet to soften,
Deepening your relaxation.
Now let's take a deep breath in,
Holding here at the top for just a few seconds.
And releasing with a sigh.
Now we'll move to a 2,
2,
4 rhythm.
In for 2,
Hold at the top for 2,
Release for a count of 4.
Release the air from your lungs,
3,
2,
1,
In,
2,
Hold,
2,
Out,
2,
3,
4,
In,
2,
Hold,
2,
Out,
2,
3,
4,
In,
Hold,
Out,
In,
Hold,
Out.
Keep it going.
We're starting to slow down the rhythm now by extending the exhales for deeper relaxation.
Last one in this rhythm.
And now take a deep breath in.
Hold at the top here.
Holding your breath here,
Allowing your body to become heavy.
It feels so peaceful to put a pause on everything,
Let it all just drift away while you settle in to deep relaxation.
And now take a breath in,
Hold here,
And a gentle breath out.
Going into our final round of very slow 4,
4 rhythm.
Get ready to take some deep breaths.
Releasing the air from your lungs,
3,
2,
1,
In,
2,
3,
4,
Out,
2,
3,
4.
Hold in to your nose as slowly as possible,
And release with a gentle exhalation.
Final breath,
And hold at the top,
And now let it go.
Holding your breath.
In this breath hold,
Everything softens as you get ready to enter a deep rest.
Now take a final deep breath in,
And hold it here.
Release with a sigh,
Returning to your natural breath in and out of your nose as your body prepares for deep rejuvenating rest.
No need to breathe consciously anymore,
Allow your mind to drift off into sleep whenever it's ready to.
The music will continue to play for a while longer,
If you are ready for sleep now,
Feel free to turn this video off,
If not,
Enjoy the music and allow yourself to drift off.
Rest well tonight,
Until next time,
Much love.
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well.
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well,
Sleep well.
