Hello,
Thank you for joining me for this guided visualization.
Take a moment to set up your space.
Maybe closing the door to the room that you're in,
Diffusing some essential oils,
Lighting a candle,
Maybe smudging or cleansing the space.
And once you set up your space,
Allow yourself to get comfortable.
You can find either a seated position with the hips supported,
Or perhaps lying down,
The spine nice and long,
And legs and arms uncrossed.
And when you're ready to do so,
You can go ahead and close down your beautiful eyes.
Taking an opportunity to start to notice the breath,
Feeling the natural rise and fall of the abdomen as you happen to breathe.
And then slowly starting to deepen the inhale,
Expanding the ribs into the low belly and allowing the exhale.
Starting to breathe on the inhale to the count of 1,
2,
3,
4,
Pause,
And exhale 4,
3,
2,
1.
Continuing this breathing technique with your own pace.
And I'll let you know when it's time to come back.
It's just beginning.
And so releasing the breathing technique if you haven't done so already.
And beginning to see yourself standing on a busy street.
You're standing on the sidewalk.
Cars,
Buses,
Bikes,
Zooming past in both directions.
You look up the road and notice the sidewalk is clustered with people.
Looking down the road,
Seeing the same groups of people.
Varge,
Busy.
Lots of places to go.
And you stand there amongst the chaos.
You take a moment,
Noticing everything,
Taking it all in.
Then you feel somebody place their hand gently on your shoulder.
You turn around,
But nobody is there.
You see a stairway that leads down off the road into a door.
You begin to make your way to the stairway.
Feeling drawn to this area.
You take a moment and place your left hand over your heart,
Closing your eyes.
You know that you are supported here.
You are safe and completely in control.
With that sense of comfort,
You place your left hand on the railing and you take a step down the stairs.
You feel a slight shift,
The air feels warmer,
More comfortable.
You take another step.
You feel a lightness beginning to rise through your body.
You take a third step,
Feeling a sense of ease and comfort wash over you.
You take the fourth step,
Feeling relaxed,
Safe.
You take the fifth step,
Arriving steps before the door.
You feel completely at peace,
Welcome,
Safe,
And supported.
You know this is exactly where you are supposed to be.
You notice the beautiful door,
The color.
You notice the beautiful golden door knob.
It seems to be almost glowing and sparkling.
You take a full belly breath in,
Placing your left hand on the door knob.
As you exhale,
You pull the door open.
Before you is a beautiful garden.
The sun is shining.
The grass is so luscious and green.
There are beds of flowers everywhere.
You see butterflies,
Can hear the birds.
A truly surreal scene.
In the distance,
You see a woman.
She is glowing.
She reaches her hand out towards you and waves you to come in.
You take the steps through the doorway,
Noticing you're in bare feet and can feel the warmth of the earth and the softness of the grass beneath you.
And as you walk through the doorway the door gently closes behind you,
Leaving the noises of all the people,
Vehicles,
The chaos behind.
You walk on the grass through the garden towards the woman.
You feel really safe,
Guided and comforted.
She reaches out her hand and takes yours.
Her skin is soft,
Warm to the touch.
She has this magnificent glow about her.
She's radiant.
Her hair is long and blonde.
It has a soft way.
She wears a golden flower crown.
She has a bow in her other hand,
And arrows case behind her.
You take in her energy,
Her love,
Her guidance.
She is the goddess Diana.
She hands you her bow.
You take it unsure of what to do.
She gestures you to look ahead.
Through the garden.
In the distance you see a large tree.
She asks you,
What is it you desire?
Take a moment,
Letting her soft voice wash over you.
You think for a moment,
Absorbing her words.
What is it that I desire?
And all of a sudden,
On the tree in the distance is a piece of paper.
Tacked to the tree are your desires.
What you're craving.
What you're wanting most.
What your soul has come here for.
And with that,
She hands you an arrow.
You place the arrow in the bow.
Before you know it,
You're drawing back the arrow.
Take a big breath in,
Focusing all your energy on what you desire straight ahead.
And as you exhale,
You release the arrow.
Allowing all your energy to flow through that arrow into your desires.
You hear the arrow connect with the wood.
Right in the center of your desires.
You turn back to see Goddess Diana.
She smiles.
She places her hands on your shoulders.
She reminds you.
Stay focused on your desires.
Trust the guidance of your heart.
And when your path starts to waver,
Come back here.
When the world gets too noisy,
And you lose track or focus,
Return to this inner sanctuary,
This garden.
Realize and channel your energy towards your desires.
As she wipes the tears from your eyes,
She gently kisses you on the forehead.
And as you blink,
She is gone.
You walk towards the tree.
You remove the piece of paper and the arrow.
You notice what's on the paper.
Whether it's drawings,
Words,
Images.
You pull it in close to your heart,
Pressing it against you.
And then you gently tuck it into your pocket,
Holding them close and safe.
And then you gently begin to make your way back towards the door.
Really just taking in the vibrancy and the magic of the space,
The colors,
The sounds,
The freshness of the air,
The sense of peace and clarity you now have.
And you arrive at the door,
And you take a big breath in.
And as you exhale,
You open the door.
The world outside seems more quiet,
Less hectic.
You make your way through the door back to the stairway.
Placing your hand on the railing,
You begin to climb up the stairs.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
You arrive at the sidewalk.
You notice all the people have disappeared.
A few cars are on the road in front of you.
You feel a sense of clarity,
A sense of peace,
Knowing where to go amongst the chaos.
And when you're ready to,
You can begin to open your eyes,
Bringing your awareness back to your body,
To the space around you.
Taking in the objects in the room,
The sounds in the space,
The sounds outside the space,
Becoming aware of the present moment.
From here,
I would encourage you to really journal about your soul,
Your heart's desires.
What did you see?
Where should your focus go?
Allow a stream of conscious writing to flow through you onto paper.
Take this opportunity to connect to the clarity you seek and feel.
And then when you're ready to,
Turning to your day,
To your life.
Thank you so much for joining me for this meditation.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Namaste.
