For this meditation,
Lie on your back.
Allow the weight of the bed or the floor to hold and comfort you.
Close your eyes and begin to connect with your heart.
Notice first the physical sensation of the heart,
A feeling of it beating in your chest.
And then pay attention to how you sense the breath in and around it.
Today's meditation is simple,
Yet deeply profound.
You will repeat the mantra over and over again.
I am enough.
I am enough.
Or if that doesn't resonate,
Any variation on this theme,
I am worthy.
I am important.
I am enough.
I am enough,
Over and over again.
As you do so,
Notice if the mind wanders into thoughts.
Perhaps your inner critic creeps in.
Rather than trying to rid yourself of the critic,
Just let them coexist.
Allow the thoughts to wander in and wander out.
And rather than wallow,
Feel any emotions that may arise,
And then let them pass.
I am enough.

If the heart begins to feel heavy and weighted,
Let it,
Even as the emotions rise and fall.
Perhaps visualize the color green and allow it to hover over and then around you.

Allow yourself the grace of knowing you are enough.
Visualize yourself surrounded by people you love,
Doing something you love,
Maybe even something you've been afraid of doing.
But now in this state,
Really visualize yourself doing it and feeling so powerful,
