Welcome to this minimalist meditation for the root chakra.

In this meditation,

We will focus on one piece of imagery and one question for several minutes.

During this time,

I won't provide much guidance,

But music will continue to play as you meditate.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable position.

Bring over whatever you need to feel supported in this moment.

You may close your eyes or find a fixed gazing point.

Take a deep breath in and begin to focus on your breath.

Take a nice slow breath in and slow exhale out.

Inhale and exhale.

Continue to breathe at your own pace in and out of the nose.

Bring your awareness now to the base of your spine,

To your root chakra.

In this space is a glowing ball of red light.

Observe how this red light reacts to your breath,

To each inhale and exhale.

Maybe it grows and expands.

Maybe it gets brighter and deeper.

Maybe it spreads further and further out.

Or some combination of these.

Observe this light and sit with it for a few moments now.

If your mind has wandered,

Gently bring it back to the red light.

How does it look to you now?

Continuing to observe this light,

This energy,

Ask it,

What do you need me to know?

Allow any messages to come through.

As you spend your final minute with this light,

Take in anything else it needs to tell or give to you.

Begin now to step away from this light and return to your body.

Deepen your breath.

Allow yourself to move your body in any way that you feel called in this moment.

Gently blink your eyes a few times and adjust back to the room around you.

With much love and gratitude,

I close our practice together.

May we meditate together again soon.

Thank you so much.
