Welcome.
Find a position that will help you feel comfortable,
Grounded,
And centered today.
Feel free to close your eyes or find a fixed spot where you can rest your gaze.
Let's begin by tuning into the breath in the body.
Bring your awareness to your belly.
You can put a hand there if you'd like to and take a slow breath in and allow the belly to fill.
And exhale,
Your belly softens and your belly button draws in toward your spine.
Inhale,
Feel the rise,
The filling,
And exhale the emptying and the release.
Continue breathing at your own pace,
Observing how your body responds to each inhale and each exhale.
To travel within,
Focusing on the belly or the womb space where the sacral chakra resides.
Picture the light flickering of a flame in the darkness of this space.
This flame is waiting to be nurtured.
It is waiting for you to bring your love and attention to it.
To nurture this flame,
Envision how a golden thread reaching down from the base of the flame,
Traveling down through the root chakra,
The base of your spine,
Down into the surface we are resting on.
And watch as it continues all the way down to the earth's center,
Connecting you with Mother God.
In response to this connection,
A light encircles this thread and travels back up through the earth,
Through the ground you're sitting on,
Through your root chakra,
And to the base of the flame.
The flame rises and glows brighter.
The golden thread now travels up through the flame,
Weaving its way through your body,
Through the solar plexus chakra,
The heart chakra,
The throat,
The third eye.
It continues on up out of your body and reaches up to the sky,
Connecting to the great expansive universe above you.
In turn,
The universe sends light back down,
Traveling through your body and reaching the tip of the flame.
Watch as this flame rises in response,
Feeling fully grounded in the support it is receiving from the earth and the universe.
It's time for you to nurture this flame with your own passion,
Dreams,
And ideas.
As you gaze at this flame,
Ask yourself,
What am I ready to grow?
What am I ready to bring to life?
Perhaps it's something entirely new that you've never done before.
Perhaps it is something that was forgotten but is ready to return to you now.
And if nothing comes to mind,
That's okay.
It might not be ready yet.
Instead,
Sit with the feeling of the excitement of something new beginning or growing in this next season or phase of your life.
Sit now with this flame stirring and arising within you.
Watch it glow brighter and grow taller as you feel or envision what you are going to create next.
The flame within you now begins to give off some light feathery smoke.
The smoke can be whatever color you'd like.
It could be a color you associate with whatever is stirring within you or a color you associate with creativity or new beginnings.
The smoke begins to spread out,
Up,
And down through your body.
It is searching for the areas that need attention and clearing so you are no longer held back in pursuing something new and bringing what you want to create to life.
Which areas in your body need this clearing most?
Observe as the smoke travels to these areas,
To all the deep and tight corners.
Allow it to ease and soothe any tightness you feel in these places.
If the smoke hasn't reached there already,
Allow it to drift up and into your mind.
Let it sweep away any thoughts that aren't serving you.
Let it clear any old false stories you've told yourself that weigh you down.
Allow this smoke now to travel down to your hands.
Feel the swirling energy as it sits in your palms.
What will this energy help you do?
What can it help you create?
See yourself in the act of creation with this energy lifting you up and supporting you.
Begin now to draw that energy back within you,
Coming back to yourself and into your body.
What does the flame within you look like now?
Make a promise to yourself to continue nurturing this flame.
Thank the earth and the universe,
Your higher self and your guides,
For giving the flame the stability and inspiration it needs to grow.
Thank yourself for being the creative and talented being that you are.
What you create is needed in this world and is appreciated.
It is valuable and unique because it comes from you.
Take a nice deep breath in to help the smoke and flame within settle.
And exhale,
Let that smoke release,
Carrying with it any last remaining tension,
Doubts or fears.
Return gently now to the space you are in,
Starting with small or subtle movements.
Gently blink your eyes a few times and stretch or move your body in any way that you need.
With much love and gratitude,
I close our practice together.
May we journey together again soon.
