Welcome to this meditation for the sacral chakra,

The center of your creativity,

Passion,

Pleasure,

And self-expression.

The sacral chakra is located below the belly button at the top end of the pelvis,

Between the hips.

Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down on your back.

Find a position that feels best to you in this moment.

Bring your hands onto your low belly if that feels good.

You may close your eyes or find an unmoving point ahead of you where you can gaze softly.

Begin to draw your attention into your breath.

Once you have exhaled completely,

Join me in taking a nice slow deep breath in.

And on your exhale,

Open mouth,

Sigh it out.

Let's do that one more time together.

Take a nice slow deep breath in and exhale,

Sigh it out.

Return to your own natural breathing pattern now.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

If you have your hands on your belly,

Or even if you don't,

You can simply draw your awareness there.

Allow the belly to fill up on your inhale.

And on the exhale,

Let it gently drop in,

Your belly button drawing in toward your spine.

No need to activate the muscles here as you do this.

Just notice the subtle movement of the belly in response to the breath.

Inhale,

The belly fills.

Exhale,

It gently empties and draws inward.

With your awareness in the low belly,

In the region of the sacral chakra,

I invite you to imagine there is a pool or a bowl of water held between your hips.

With each inhale,

The water moves in a wave forward.

And with each exhale,

It gently floats back in toward your spine.

Observe what this water looks like.

Is it murky?

Is it clear?

Is it tinted any particular color?

Spend some time taking this in for a few breaths,

Feeling the connection between breath,

Body,

And the water flowing within.

Observe this pool of water as if you are within your own body and you're floating above it,

Getting a bird's eye view.

You watch the waves as they move together deeper into your body and float away on the exhale.

From this view from above,

You begin to notice some activity within the water.

You notice new colors starting to form.

Your view is blurry at first until one at a time,

You watch as flowers begin to appear and sharpen into focus.

They rise to float and dance on the surface of the water.

Their roots come up from your root chakra,

Rising through the pool of water,

Reaching for the surface where these beautiful flowers can bloom.

The flowers are all different types,

Colors,

Shapes,

And sizes,

And you can't help but be in awe of them.

Eventually,

There are so many flowers that as you observe them from above,

The petals are not unlike a kaleidoscope.

With each gentle wave within the water,

They unveil themselves to be brighter,

Changing right before your eyes.

If your water was once murky or clouded,

These flowers are making it clearer.

Instinctually,

You want to nurture this beauty that is forming,

This inner garden that is rising from the waves within you.

These flowers,

In turn,

Are rising up instinctually in the direction of your solar plexus and heart chakras,

Reaching for the nourishment and love that already exists within you.

As you float here within your own body,

Turn your awareness upward now toward the heart space.

From there,

You see a golden,

Glowing light is slowly beaming down through your chest,

Through your rib cage,

Through the fire of the solar plexus chakra,

Where the light becomes more brilliant and recharged.

And then it flows down into your belly.

As this golden light falls,

It begins to fragment,

And what looks like golden drops of rain gently fall onto the flowers,

Touching each individual petal.

As these golden raindrops fall down,

The colors of the petals become even more vivid,

Even more striking than they were before.

Observe how your flowers look now.

What transformation are they experiencing as the love of your heart greets them,

Taking all of the colors and the shapes?

In this sacred bowl or pool of water located in your pelvis,

There is true beauty rising.

Healthy,

Vibrant creations are blooming,

And they start all the way from your root.

As they rise,

The love from your own heart and the strength and fire of your solar plexus work together to help them grow.

While your garden's home is the space within and around your sacral chakra,

It receives nourishment from above and below,

And it is the energy flowing from both directions that creates the right environment for what already exists here to bloom.

I invite you to stay and explore your garden for a few moments.

As you prepare to leave your garden,

Thank all the energies present for their nourishment,

And thank yourself,

Acknowledging that these energies are yours and a part of you.

They may not be visible on the outside,

But they are with you always.

As you come back,

Gently move away from your garden and bring awareness to your physical body,

Starting with your belly.

Begin to deepen your breath and observe again how the belly responds to each inhale and each exhale.

Begin to welcome back any other small movements in your body,

Taking any stretches that feel good to you.

Be gentle and kind with yourself as you reawaken.

When you are ready,

Gently blink your eyes open and slowly begin to adjust back to your room and the space around you.

With much love and gratitude,

I close our practice together.

May we meet again soon.

Thank you so much.
