In this Nothing & Everything meditation (which is only suggested if you feel stable and comfortable with the idea and sensation of temporarily letting go of your separate sense of self), you'll be guided through the body, into your aura, and then connection with space. From there, you'll dissolve deeper into that sensation of becoming no-thing, and simultaneously being one with everything.

Hey,

I'm Cyrus.

Welcome to this nothing and everything meditation,

Where you'll become nothing,

Your sense of self will temporarily fade away,

And you'll become everything.

You'll feel connected to everything in the known universe.

But just be aware before choosing to embark upon this session that the sensation of letting go of yourself can be unusual for some if you haven't experienced it before,

And I advise you to only follow along to this track if you feel fairly stable right now,

And like letting go of yourself temporarily would be a pleasant and safe experience.

If so,

You can begin by sitting upright in a chair with good back support and closing your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Really deep,

All the way down to your toes,

And slowly let it go out through the mouth.

Let's do two more like that.

Breathe really deep and slowly,

Filling up the whole body with oxygen,

And releasing even slower out through the mouth.

Last one,

Deepest one,

Slowest one,

Breathing slow and deep all the way down to the toes,

And letting go smooth and slow out through the mouth.

Okie doke,

Now I suggest that you stay still if you want to get the most out of this session.

Other than your breathing,

Aim to decide to stay consistently physically still from this moment onward,

And be aware of any thoughts that are appearing in your consciousness in this moment,

But don't attach to them.

Notice how they're just objects that are appearing in consciousness,

Just thoughts that are popping up in the space that you're aware of.

And now notice any emotion in your body right now,

Any emotional energy that might be quiet or loud,

Or maybe you don't notice anything at all.

Just notice what you notice without judgment.

And simply allow that emotional energy to exist and float in the space of your body where you notice it.

If it wants to stay or if it wants to flow out,

Whatever it wants to do,

Just notice that,

And if it feels safe to do so,

Just let that emotional energy do whatever it's naturally doing.

And begin to light up the chi,

The life energy of your body,

Like you're shining a flashlight and moving it around smoothly and instinctively,

Starting at the top of your head.

Feel the energy traveling down to your forehead.

Feel the energy in your eyes,

Feel the energy in your ears,

Feel the energy in your heart,

Feel the energy in your forehead,

Feel the energy in your eyes,

Your nose,

Your lips and tongue,

Your jaw and neck,

Collarbone and shoulders.

Feel the energy starting to ripple down into the upper arms and elbows,

Lower arms and palms of your hands,

Thumbs,

Index fingers,

Middle fingers,

Ring fingers,

Pinky fingers.

Ripple the energy back up through the hands into the arms all the way to the shoulders and down into your heart area,

Your chest and your upper back,

Down into your middle torso,

Feeling your upper belly and your middle back,

And down into your lower torso,

Your lower belly and your lower back.

Feel your hips,

Your glutes and your pelvic bowl.

And your upper legs,

Your knees,

Noticing the details of sensations lighting up as you feel your lower legs,

Your ankles,

The tops of your feet,

The soles of your feet,

And your toes.

And now bring the wave of energy all the way up through your body,

Starting at the feet into your legs,

Expand into your lower torso,

Your upper chest,

Through your body,

Starting at the feet into your legs,

Expand into your lower torso,

Your upper torso,

Your hands and arms,

Up through the neck and into the head,

All the way up through the face to the top of the head.

And now feel the life energy head to toe as one single flow of energy alive and buzzing.

Feel the vibrations becoming more viscous and detailed and alive as you reign your attention more deeply into every inch of the body at once.

And now feel the aura of energy around your body,

Feel that same buzzing sensation,

But the subtle way that it expands past your skin.

Don't think about this,

Just feel and sense it.

Stay with that vibrating mass of energy as it expands and contracts like a breathing organism moment to moment with your full attention.

And now start to feel and sense your surroundings and the space around you.

Don't think about how to do this,

Just feel and sense the space as far as you feel it.

Keep expanding the scope and distance of your awareness until you start to feel further and further out into space.

And now allow the sense of distance to disappear as you simply stretch to feel infinite space around you.

Again,

Not thinking,

But simply feeling that sense of limitless infinite space.

Breathe effortlessly and deeply into this infinite space as if you are that space,

As if you are breathing the entirety of that space.

And now,

If it feels safe to do so,

Allow the sense of your body and the limits of your skin start to melt away in your perception.

Just allow yourself to relax and feel as though you are melting into that space,

Becoming one with it,

And the separation is dissolving into that space.

Feel how the vibrations of this greater space are the same vibrations that you are made up of as you breathe and flow with the sameness of this infinite space that you are.

And now,

Allow yourself to feel as though you are breathing the entirety of that space,

Becoming one with it,

And the separation is dissolving completely and blissfully.

If it feels safe to do so,

Just temporarily notice how you are becoming nothing,

No thing,

And you don't have to cling to the heaviness or separateness of a personal self in this moment.

You can just feel that sense of being pure awareness,

Nothing in particular,

In a blissful and light way.

And feel simultaneously how you are also everything in your felt awareness and connectedness to all space and everything within it.

Feel your sense of everythingness,

Of being everything and all space that contains it.

And you might allow yourself to be aware of this delicate blissful balance between being nothing and everything at the same time,

Relieving yourself of any need to analyze it but just noticing it and loving it as it is.

For a final few moments,

If it feels good to you,

Just allow yourself to relax into that even more deeply,

To dissolve into the silence and stillness of that deep connected awareness of nothing and everything,

Resting more deeply in that space than you ever thought possible.

And you might choose to continue to rest in this space for longer if you feel like you'd benefit from it,

But when you feel ready,

Slowly return to your body in the physical world,

Perhaps by wiggling your fingers or toes,

Maybe shifting your weight gently side to side in a rocking motion in your chair and feeling the physical awareness of your body before you open your eyes and re-emerge into the organization of your molecules,

Perhaps consciously bringing back with you a sense of lightness,

Spacious connected openness and deep conscious presence,

One moment at a time,

Deliberately holding that intention to carry those energies back with you into your day if you feel like that would serve you.

I suggest allowing yourself to move deliberately slowly and gently at first so that you can warm back into your day at a rhythm and pace that feels natural and effortless.
