Hey it's Cyrus.
Welcome to this deep peaceful sleep meditation.
Let's get you a peaceful night of sleep and have you waking up nice and peaceful.
Go ahead and get your room sorted so that it's supportive to deep peaceful sleep.
Make any adjustments to your environment,
Eliminate distractions,
And then climb into your restful nest and get into a comfortable position that feels like you could rest peacefully in.
Once you're in there,
Just start to be aware of the sacredness of the place where you rest.
You're now in a place where you can shift gears.
You don't have to do anything.
You can just be and allow yourself to rest and recharge.
Take the pressure off of sleeping.
That will come at its own pace,
But for now just give yourself permission to start to rest and just be as you feel yourself start to effortlessly ease into the support that's carrying you now.
Feel what it feels like to allow your bed to support you and notice the wave of breath that's currently happening.
See if you can do a short breath hold by breathing in,
Holding at the top,
And feeling your body as you hold for a moment.
And now let the breath wash back out through the mouth.
See if you can do two more breath holds to slow your body's rhythm down and signal that it's time to start to rest by breathing in deeply once more,
A little deeper,
Holding at the top,
And paying attention to the energy in your body as you hold.
Let it flow out of the mouth without even trying.
One more breath hold.
Breathe really deep and slow.
Hold at the top.
Be present with what you feel.
Let it wash out,
Starting to tune into the rhythm.
Let that rhythm start to come to you now.
Feel the breath resuming at whatever pace it effortlessly does now and just observe that calming wave of respiration for a moment,
Staying in rhythm and in sync with that breath with your attention.
Start to be aware of your day and without judging it,
Just notice any energy that you're carrying with you into bed and just start to be aware of it and breathe with it instead of against it.
Give it space to be and to breathe for a moment so that you can start to release it.
Imagine it flowing through you like a wave,
Like the energy of your day is being processed,
Digested,
And feel yourself breathing and releasing that energy now,
Letting your day wash through you completely and surrendering any leftover energy into the ether as you exhale.
And now start to imagine yourself in the most peaceful environment you can imagine.
Maybe it's just you on your bed surrounded by stars and galaxies and the infinite peace and silence of space or maybe you're resting on your bed in a soothing garden with babbling brooks and birds gently buzzing around you or whatever environment your imagination conjures to support your peace.
Feel yourself blissfully immersing in the sensory details,
Colors,
And textures of this personalized peaceful vista that you've entered and feel your mental spotlight starting to switch on and starting at the top of your head.
Just feel it bounce like a gentle rippling wave down the body in a rhythm as you move the attention instinctively,
Feeling that light wave of energy bouncing from the top of the head down into the forehead,
Into the eyes,
The nose,
The lips,
The jaw,
Staying in a rhythm down to the neck,
The shoulders,
The upper arms,
The lower arms,
The hands,
And the fingers,
Washing back up to the wrists and the elbows,
Feeling the chest,
Resting at the chest with the breath for a moment,
Inviting a sense of peace to pervade through the heart as you breathe the peaceful energy of the environment you've imagined into the heart and dropping the mental spotlight down into the stomach and feel yourself breathing in that peaceful,
Serene,
Still energy into the stomach,
Feeling that entire area relaxing and unwinding with each breath,
Dropping the attention to the pelvic floor and the hips,
The front of your thighs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
The tops of your feet,
Your toes,
The soles of your feet,
Your heels,
Ankles,
Drop thoughts,
Stay present with the rhythm as you move up to the calf muscles and the backs of your thighs,
The glutes and the lower back,
The middle back,
The upper back,
The back of your neck,
The back of your head,
Feel the entire back of the body resting against the support,
Feel yourself releasing tension and relaxing and effortlessly,
Buoyantly sinking into the support,
Feel the front of the body facing the sky,
Open and receptive to breath and fresh peaceful energy,
Gently hold the balance of the back of your body grounded and the front of your body open and peaceful and be aware of the grounded energy at your feet and a sense of open peacefulness at the top of the head,
Gently balance that groundedness at the feet and the openness at the top of the head,
Notice any tension that remains in the body without judgment and if the tension feels ready to release,
Simply allow it to release at its own pace,
Feel yourself gently floating like a feather down into a state of deeper and deeper peacefulness,
With every breath feel yourself starting to melt and connect into the space around you,
Feel the energy of the space around you,
Just feel it with your awareness,
Feel yourself gently melting and merging into that space with each breath at a pace that feels good and effortless to you,
Sense the details and textures and nuances of this moment that you're aware of right now,
The details and textures of this unique moment,
Start to sense the deep and timeless peace that's simply resting steadily in the silence and stillness of this moment,
Feel yourself connecting to that peace at a deep unconscious level,
Simply allow that peace to work on you now,
To steady and soothe and harmonize all parts of your being,
Allow things to slow down,
Allow the breath to effortlessly slow,
Allow movement of all kinds to gently decelerate and slow,
Allow yourself to connect with stillness as you feel it deeply now,
Feel yourself letting go of anything that arises within your consciousness,
Just enter a rhythm where you're letting go and diving back into the deep waters of that peace,
Immersing yourself as you let go over and over into that restful peace,
Whatever arises just dropping it and dropping deeper into the stillness,
Into the peace,
Feel yourself softening,
Loosening,
Releasing on the deepest levels of your awareness,
Trusting that energy of peace to support,
Carry and heal you automatically,
Feel yourself aligning to yourself and this moment exactly as it is,
Dropping deeper into that sense of alignment and peace and as you invite yourself to cross that bridge from rest into sleep,
Just continue to maintain that rhythm of letting go and easing deeper into that vast energy of peace at your own pace,
