Hello,
And welcome to another guided breathwork session.
Today we are going to elevate and excite ourselves,
Giving the nervous system a little jumpstart for the day,
Saving ourselves from reaching for another hit of caffeine,
Allowing us to maintain focus and productivity.
This session will have two techniques.
The first technique is a shamanic style of breathing.
Two part inhale through the nose or mouth,
And a relaxed exhale through the mouth.
First breath into the belly,
Second into the chest,
And a relaxed exhale out the mouth.
The second technique is a triple nasal inhale and a relaxed exhale out the mouth.
The first breath is into the belly,
Second into the chest,
And the third breath topping up any dead space and exhale out through the mouth.
Each round will be separated with breath holds starting at 50 seconds.
Getting as comfortable as possible,
Laying down flat,
Or sitting up tall,
Elongating the spine.
Closing down the eyes and breathing out empty.
Shamanic breathing in 3,
2,
1,
In,
In,
And out.
Shamanic breath around,
Taking a deep breath in,
And hold,
Allowing any resistance in the body to just melt away into the surface beneath you.
Taking a recovery breath in,
Hold.
3 more,
2,
Last one,
Take a deep breath in,
And hold for a few.
Embracing any tingling and sensations.
4th and final round,
Combining it all together now,
Shamanic breathing.
Double the speed.
Last shamanic breath,
Moving on to triple inhales.
Keep it going,
Double the speed.
Squeeze the pelvic floor muscles and stomach,
Tucking the chin,
Feeling the energy you have just created surging through the body.
Letting it go with a sigh.
Taking a slow breath in through the nose,
Letting it out with a sigh.
Returning to your natural flow of breathing now,
In and out,
Through the nose.
Bringing some movement to the body now,
Shaking it out if you need to.
