Hello friend,
Welcome.
If you're here right now,
You might be experiencing anxiety.
Anxiety can take a real toll on our mental and physical well-being.
This short guided meditation is designed to help you find calm,
Release tension,
And ease anxious thoughts.
All you need to do is find a quiet,
Comfortable place,
Press play,
And follow along.
Find a quiet space and get yourself settled.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes or keep a soft gaze.
Tune into your breathing.
Take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths,
Noticing the rhythm of your inhales and exhales.
As you continue to breathe,
Begin to scan your body for the areas of tightness or discomfort,
Starting with the tips of your toes,
Slowly moving to the top of your head.
Consciously relax your muscles one by one,
Letting go of any clenching or gripping.
Visualize anxiety leaving your body as your body relaxes,
Breathing in and out.
Picture your worries as clouds drifting away,
Feeling the weight of tension dissolving in your muscles.
Breathe here for a moment,
Continuing your body scan until you've reached the top of your head.
If you've noticed your body tensing again,
Gently bring your focus to that area.
Breathe in and on your breath out,
Let the tension release.
Bring your focus to the present moment.
Notice the sights,
Sounds,
And sensations all around you.
Gently redirect your mind when it wanders back to your breath.
Silently repeat a calming word or phrase.
As an example,
I let go of any tension and worries in my body and replace it with calm and ease.
Breathe those words in and out for a few breaths.
Let it become your anchor,
Finding that inner peace,
Tuning in to a feeling of inner calm.
Breathing in and out,
Basking in the sense of tranquility and ease.
Your mind and body are now very relaxed.
When you move through your day or evening,
Bring your mind back to that phrase or word that you chose,
To commit yourself to carrying this peace with you.
Taking a last few deep breaths in and out.
Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed and renewed.
Take a little bit of time each day to practice a guided meditation.
With regular use,
You can train your mind and body to better manage anxiety and stress.
Feel free to lay here for a little longer,
Breathing in the sensation of calm and ease.
And when you are ready,
Go about your day,
Sending you so much love.
