Hello my friend,
This is Angie and I'm going to guide you with my voice into relaxation and lead you into a peaceful sleep.
Start by making sure you're in the most comfortable position for you to fall asleep.
Take a deep breath in and out as you stretch out your arms and your legs,
Feeling that lovely release as you breathe out and let your body melt into your bed.
Take a long deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up your belly and your lungs and breathe out fully through your mouth.
Do this a few times thoughtfully and with ease on your own.
In through your nose and out through your mouth,
Letting go a big sigh as you release.
You may be feeling restless from your day or from the stresses in the world that make your mind active and unable to fall asleep.
There's so much energy in the world right now and it's hard not to absorb it,
To feel worry,
Anxiety or fear.
Sometimes your body feels tired but your mind just won't shut off.
This is caused by overstimulation,
Overstimulation from the environment around you.
The nervous system is working over time,
The energy around you gets absorbed into your body.
This is something everyone struggles with so know that you are not alone.
Take another deep breath in and breathe out,
Sinking more and more into relaxation.
We are made up of energy and it's your choice what kind of energy you will allow to absorb into your body.
Just like nutritious food can heal your body,
Breathing in love can heal your mind.
Self love is not just a state of feeling good,
It's a state for appreciation for oneself.
Love of self for one's own happiness and well-being.
Thankfully through practicing breathing exercises and meditation we can slow down this electrical current in our body and bring it back to a natural state of calm and ease.
For now let's just be here in this moment.
Everything is okay.
You are safe and don't have anything else to do other than just be.
If thoughts are running through your mind just let them be.
The more you try to control your thoughts the harder it is,
Just let it go.
See your thoughts drift away peacefully into the distance until they are gone.
Imagine your thoughts as stars.
You can see them in the distance like stars in the night.
As a thought comes into your mind see it as a star floating up into the night sky.
Be here with your life source,
Your breath,
And listen to these words.
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in the word love,
Filling your belly up with loving,
Healing energy,
And exhale fear,
Seeing that energy leaving your body.
As you breathe in and focus on the word love also visualize a healing pink color,
And as you breathe out fear visualize a gray smoke exiting your body.
Inhale love,
Exhale fear.
Inhale love,
Exhale fear.
You have nothing to do other than just be here right now.
You are safe and supported in your bed.
Breathe in love,
Breathe out fear.
As you keep breathing these words in and out,
The more love you breathe in,
The less fear is coming out.
The gray smoke you are breathing out is slowly starting to diminish and becoming more and more the pink healing light.
Your breath is your life source,
The thing that keeps you alive.
What a wonderful gift to be breathing and living.
See that pink loving energy floating in and out of your body.
Breathe in love,
Breathe out love.
Breathe in love,
Breathe out love.
Keep doing this for a few breaths on your own.
Now that your body is filled up with this loving healing energy,
As you keep breathing imagine this light radiating from within you to all around you like a protective healing bubble.
You feel protected and comforted and a deep sense of knowing that everything is okay.
This feeling is so soothing and you feel more and more relaxed.
For the rest of this meditation,
Slowly allow your body and mind to melt more and more into the comfort of your bed.
With each inhale and exhale as you drift off to these words and music.
Inhale love.

I am safe.
I am comforted.
I am protected.
Inhale love.
Exhale love.
I am love.
I am so relaxed.
I am blessed.
I am strong.
I am surrounded by loving healing energy.
