Welcome.
To begin this meditation,
I'm gonna invite you to find both a posture and a position that's relaxed,
Comfortable,
Grounding.
I also want you to find a space where for the next five minutes,
You're not gonna be disrupted or distracted.
Settle into whatever that looks like.
Feel your body connected to the earth.
Where can you feel that connection?
Maybe it's in the soles of your feet.
In your seat.
In your back if you're laying down.
And I want you to begin by just taking a nice deep breath in through the nose down into your belly.
Really sensing those places where you're connected on the exhale.
With your next two breaths bring even more attention and awareness.
To the places where you're anchored to the ground.
Imagine bringing that breath all the way in.
To that area of your body.
On the exhale surrendering and just letting your body sink a little bit more into whatever's holding you.
And you may be feeling like you don't have very much to give in this chapter of life.
And so for right now,
I want you to let the earth and your breath hold you.
Breath in and out.
Bring just a small sip of appreciation for this mini moment of pause.
And just allow your body to rest with each exhale.
And with the next few breaths,
You're invited to begin drawing out the inhales and the exhales.
Maybe slowly bring attention to where that breath is filling up your body,
Your stomach.
Your chest,
Your shoulders and your throat and see if you can let the exhale go even longer and slower.
Maybe every now and then there's a big exhale with a bit of a sigh.
Just letting all of the energy,
The tension,
The to-do's.
Letting it all go.
Thanking your body for this little moment of pause that even though life is full Some days it feels like it's just keeping our heads above water.
That when we come back to the body in these little moments of connection.
Our bodies remind us that we have everything we need.
And it's okay to take a little break.
To take a little moment to pause for yourself.
So keep inviting in those long inhales,
Even longer exhales.
Letting your attention sink down into the earth.
Every breath out melting away.
The stress.
The worry.
With these last few moments,
I want to invite you to bring to mind something you're grateful for in life.
Something that in the face of challenge,
Stress,
Exhaustion,
And burnout,
You know this thing is still there for you.
And as you bring this thing to mind,
I want you to breathe in the gratitude and the appreciation.
And remembering.
That that thing is always there for you,
No matter what.
Let those inhales and exhales just leave your body with a softening,
A remembering.
Taking one last breath of gratitude.
And then slowly getting ready to transition back.
A little more poised.
A little bit more rested and ready.
