Pay attention to how you are sitting or laying down.
Are you relaxed or tense?
Can you move yourself around just a little bit to get more comfortable?
Is there a part of your body that you can ask to relax and release?
Just let go and be totally chilled out.

Today we are going to take a journey on a snowboard.
I want you to picture yourself near the top of a sparkling white mountain,
Ready to glide down the hill before you.
It isn't too steep,
But it is still exciting enough to get your juices flowing.
You enjoy these few moments at the top,
Taking the world in from this vantage point is a true gift.
As you look around,
You can feel the sun warming your face.
There is no wind and only a couple of clouds in the sky.
Looking across the landscape,
You can see many trees and a lot of powdery,
Perfect snow.
The snow is waiting for you.
You take a deep breath in and lean forward to start your journey down the hill.
The air passes by your face and reminds you that you are alive,
Truly alive.
You glide effortlessly and freely,
Full of energy and satisfaction for this very moment in time.
The board follows your lead as you guide it down the hill,
Weaving back and forth across the snowy hill,
Full of delight and pure joy.
The sun is bright and warm,
Filling you with even more gratitude and joy.
In this moment,
You feel free.
You feel strong.
You feel confident and you feel in control of your journey.
Looking at the trees as you pass them reminds you of the gift of nature.
How amazing every part of it is.
The blue color of the sky,
The sparkle of the snow,
The smell of the trees and the power of the human body.
Inhale and exhale.
Just feel it.
Just live it.
Enjoy it and be here now,
Treasuring this time that you have.
Breathe,

You start thinking about the people in your life who have helped you to get here today.
Maybe someone gave you the equipment that you're using.
Perhaps someone paid for your lift ticket.

Maybe you taught yourself or paid for your equipment or ticket.
You are so full of gratitude and humble love in this very moment that it makes you enjoy the experience even more.

Continuing to the bottom of the hill is a sweet,
Sweet journey that will continue once again when you travel back up to the top.
As you glide up the lift to the top of the hill,
You feel a wave of pure joy,
A rush of energy full of excitement for what the next round will bring.
You feel that beautiful sun on your face once again.
Enjoying the view of the other boarders and skiers below as you soar gracefully upwards.
Keep breathing in and out,
Feeling every exciting moment of the experience.
You find yourself at the top of the hill again,
But this time you're at another hill with someone.
You slowly turn your head to the right and see your boarding buddy greeting each other with a big smile and sparkle in your eyes.
You set off down the hill together.
This one is a bit faster.
You embrace the speed and feelings of anticipation as you fly down the hill.
You and your buddy are gliding along closely,
But still with lots of space to move around freely.
You take in the moment of friendship and fun and you continue down the hill.
This time you arrive a lot quicker.
As you head back up the hill on the lift,
You have a fun chat with your buddy and you enjoy the company.
I'll give you a few moments to enjoy the conversation and scenery.
When you arrive at the top,
You notice a little hut to the right with an open half window.
They have some delicious hot chocolate and treats there.
You decide to take a look.
You and your buddy find some heavenly treats and take them with you to a couple of Muskoka chairs close by.
As you each take a seat and dig into your treats,
You take in the gorgeous view in front of you.
The hill,
The clear sky,
Fellow boarders and skiers passing by.
You feel the sunshine on your face and taste the delicious treats and appreciate every single moment,
Every single breath you are taking.
You feel so full of happiness,
Excitement and overall satisfaction.
You take a few moments to just be and enjoy your treats while you take it all in.
You decide to rest for a bit with your eyes closed and your head leaning on the back of the Muskoka chair.
Your body is resting and relaxing,
Just getting ready for your next adventure down the hill.
Taking three breaths in and out.
Two breaths in and out.
One breath in and out.
You can slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,
Move around gently and when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
