Welcome into this track to help you through a little bit of a rough time.
Breakups can be devastating,
Devastating to the core,
And there's a variety of reasons,
But it doesn't actually matter what reason the devastation is occurring.
The fact is that a breakup is so,
So hard.
And What I'm hoping this track is going to give you is just a little bit of hope,
A boost,
Maybe a reprieve,
Maybe just a little bit of a break from the suffering.
And so I encourage you to.
Kind of let yourself just be in this moment,
Set aside.
Anything that you may be thinking about,
Whether it's logistics of the breakup and next steps or just the overwhelming pain.
So if you can,
You can just try to set those things aside just for a couple of moments.
And I want you to take some relaxed breaths,
Letting your body land.
Letting that nervous system engage.
Letting it do its job.
To just process in a gentle way.
Every breath.
Feeling your shoulders dropping and your muscles relaxing.
Just letting that heartbeat slow Letting your breath lengthen.
When you think about this suffering and this most recent breakup.
I want you to take any blame.
Out of it for just a moment.
It doesn't matter who broke up with who.
If it was mutual.
If one person did something horribly wrong to the other at this moment.
We're just going to let that.
Go.
And we're just going to focus on.
Your being,
Your soul,
Your heart.
Your body and just kind of the effects of this breakup.
And.
.
.
I want you to really give yourself grace.
Give yourself love.
And give yourself a break.
Sometimes even if we aren't the ones who did the breaking up,
We still somehow.
.
.
Take the blame or feel like there's something that we could have done differently.
To prevent this from happening?
Maybe we go back and we question several things.
And doing that.
.
.
Is helpful perhaps for a couple of days,
A couple of hours,
But sitting in that and recycling the thoughts spiraling deeper and deeper beyond a couple of days is really not helpful.
And so.
Perhaps this pause,
This track,
Can help you to shift out of.
That pattern if you are in it.
And I invite you to just open up your mind.
Open up your perspective,
Your thoughts,
And allow yourself to believe something different.
Now I want you to zoom right out.
Zoom,
Zoom,
Zoom so that you are out in outer space looking down at planet Earth.
And from up here,
Looking down on that planet,
It looks so small.
So insignificant and yet you know of all of the things that are going on planet Earth.
You know the gigantic mountains there are.
You know,
The amount of people living there and the vast oceans.
So from out in this,
The zoomed out perspective,
I want you to try to pick out.
One or two things that you've learned.
From this relationship.
So whether you were in that relationship for two months,
Two years,
20 years,
I want you to think about something that you have learned as a result of being in a relationship with this person.
Maybe you learned some boundaries.
Maybe you learned how to stand up for yourself.
Maybe during your time together,
You.
.
.
Explored your body on a deeper level with this person.
Perhaps you had children together or traveled to beautiful places.
So I wanted to just pick out a few things that are really,
Really,
Really interesting lessons that you've learned from them.
And I want you to just take a moment to send some gratitude and love to that person.
And that relationship,
No matter how angry or hurt you are,
Okay we're doing this kind of as a separate thing to the anger and you're just gonna send this boost of gratitude and love.
For those amazing lessons or things that you experienced together.
And remember,
You're zoomed out here looking down at the Earth.
And I want you to just feel that.
Just really feel.
That interesting sensation of sending this person who you are clearly upset with,
You're hurt,
You're know you've just recently broken up,
But you're still going to send them some love and gratitude.
For those things.
Now notice the difference.
Notice how powerful you feel.
Coming from this spot to be able to send this person love and gratitude for those beautiful experiences.
And I want you to compare this feeling,
This empowered feeling,
To the alternate.
Maybe how you were feeling before you started this track.
That anger,
Sadness,
The hurt,
The bitterness.
And think about which one feels better.
In your body,
In your mind,
In your soul.
Which one do you want to live in?
And so a powerful place.
Is the one in which we can forgive and move on.
This may not be.
.
.
Something that happens very quickly.
This may take a couple of weeks,
Months,
Years,
But when you can reach the spot of forgiveness,
That is a completion.
A cycle finish,
Showing that you have truly learned the lesson.
You have leveled up.
You have shifted.
Whatever way you want to describe it.
But for now,
I challenge you to.
.
.
Keep finding the gratitude and love for the lessons that you've learned.
And.
.
.
Maybe closing the book.
Maybe letting yourself.
Finish up in the next couple of minutes.
The feelings of anger,
Perhaps,
Hurt.
Maybe just saying,
You know what,
I think I'm done.
I think I've felt enough anger.
I think I've felt it all and I've felt it all more than enough and I'm ready to shift.
Shift into a different mode.
Shift into the healing and the moving forward.
Because a breakup is hard.
But it's harder to keep suffering and to keep punishing ourselves.
And I know this can seem overly simplified.
And maybe completely intangible at this moment.
But perhaps,
Perhaps you do have the power.
Perhaps you do have that ability.
To shift it.
To move forward.
To send that love,
To send that gratitude,
And to eventually forgive that person.
Freeing yourself,
Freeing them.
And living from a place of love.
Love for yourself,
Respect for yourself.
Just moving along in life.
I hope this has helped.
Thank you for being here with me.
Sending you lots of love and healing as you recover.
From this breakup.
Namaste.
Peace.
And awesomeness to you and yours.
