Do you know that one of my favorite parts of the day is getting to see you?
So thank you for being here and taking a little bit of time for you and for your big heart.
Today we are going to do a big heart body scan.
And a big heart body scan is good for those moments when you think,
I just don't feel that good right now.
But you can't quite figure it out.
Have you ever had those?
Well,
Big heart body scan will help bring you back into your heart.
So I want to invite you to close your eyes and put your hands on your heart.
My favorite thing to do.
And just notice and see if you can feel your heart beating.
And while you're here,
Can you just whisper,
Hey heart,
How are you?
And notice what your heart says back.
Now can you move your attention to the very top of your head?
And imagine that you are being pulled up straight in the air so you can straighten your back and your shoulders.
And imagine that your head is being pulled right up to the clouds.
And can you move all of your thoughts to the very top of your head?
And can you move all of your energy way up to the top of your head?
And just notice the top of your head.
Breathe in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine that you're moving down now and you're going to pay attention to your eyebrows and just see how your eyebrows are feeling.
I bet you've never checked in with your eyebrows before.

Hello,
Eyebrows.
How are you?
And we're going to move down your face over your eyes.
How do your eyes feel?
Are they heavy?
Are they tired?
Are they excited?
Just notice your eyes.
Notice your nose.
Maybe give me a little scrunch of your nose.
Okay.
We're going to keep our eyes closed for this.
But I want you to take your hands as your eyes are still closed and just touch your ears.
Maybe give them a little rub.
Have you ever given your ears a massage before?
This is a good moment to try.
Hello,
Ears.
It's so nice that we have ears to hear with.
Moving down to your face.
Can you just rub your hands over your face?
Notice how nice it feels to just give your cheeks a little tickle.
Notice your lips.
And then you're going to go right down and take your hands and start rubbing your neck.
Sometimes our necks do a lot of work in the day.
We have to hold our head up.
They do all sorts of things.
Notice your shoulders.
How do your shoulders feel?
Maybe give your shoulders a little rub right now.
Oh,
Feels good.
Can you roll your shoulders back for me?
Now just notice we're going to stay really still now and move that energy.
Move your focus down your arms to your elbows,
To your wrists,
All of your little fingers.
Can you notice your fingers?
How are they feeling?
Coming back into that beautiful heart of yours.
Put your hands back on your heart if they've moved.
Again,
Feel your heartbeat.

And move that all the way down.
All the way down.
Belly button.
All the way down your hips.
All the way down your legs and your knees.
Moving all the way down to your ankles.
Can you spin your ankles for me?
And all the way down to those toes.
Can you wiggle your toes for me?
And just notice how your toes are feeling.

Toes.
Haven't checked in with you in a while.
How are you doing down there?
And now move back up to your heart.
Take a big deep breath and move that right back up to the top of your head with your breath.
Ready?
Breathe in and let it out and have the air go all the way down to your toes.
We're going to breathe in from our toes up to the top of our head and breathe out all the way down back to our toes.
Again,
Wiggle your toes.
Breathe in up to the top of your head and breathe out down to your toes.
One more time.
Breathe in up to the top of your head and breathe out down to your toes.
Wiggle your toes and come back to your heart.
One more big breath in.
This time breathe right into your heart.
Imagine that heart is a big glowing sun.
Make that heart into a heart and show me up here that you're all done your body scan.
You did such a good job.
You know the body scan is something that you can do anytime and people won't even know you're doing it.
You can just do a quick body scan or you can take all the time and do a body scan like we just did here.
You can come back and watch this video anytime you feel like you want to find your calm place again.
