Today's talk is meditation coaching for aligned performance.
Recently,
I saw pictures of Beyonce's concert.
It looked amazing and it brought me back to the time I first saw her performing.
And I have to say,
I felt this kind of magical energy and just like tingles.
She really brought something to the stage that was unique and different.
And it just was so,
Caused so much elation for me and the people that I worked with.
Went with to her concert.
And I just remember this feeling of joy and levity and connection.
And it was so much fun.
And it led me to thinking,
What creates an amazing performance?
When have you performed well?
And what have you noticed about those experiences?
What I've noticed is a feeling of flow,
That things just come together.
It feels very connected.
And also aligned.
It's like you are aligned with the heavens and the earth.
You're aligned in your mind,
Your body,
Your spirit.
And it feels like ease.
It feels joyful.
It feels smooth.
And it feels like this without even feeling like you're really trying.
It's more like an effortless flow.
It's been found that these qualities are also present in high performance,
Where there's a feeling of purpose and you are connecting to something that's greater.
Than just yourself.
When someone feels that they would like to gain mastery,
A sense of self mastery and whatever it is that they're doing.
And this supersedes the desire for,
For example,
Increased bonus.
If someone were to pay you even more money to do better,
The desire to have self mastery supersedes any kind of external gratification someone can receive as Allah's autonomy,
The ability to work on your own,
Make your own decisions and not feel like you're being micromanaged in anything that you're doing.
And also there's that concentration,
The focus that's there.
Align struck me as a word for performance because I felt that there is a difference between the feeling of optimal performance or what we call peak performance versus aligned performance,
Which allows you to settle right into your center and feel grounded and connected to yourself rather than that feeling of having to reach somewhere high high and grasp somewhere outside of yourself.
The aligned performance is more about being deeply embodied and centered,
Connected to yourself.
And that has a different energy,
A different vibration when you Consider the words aligned performance.
That it's really just about being yourself and not having to try to reach.
Meditation coaching aligns your values with your outer goals.
And that's alignment,
When you feel like your inner self is being reflected in your outer world.
You're not trying to grasp at something other than who you are.
You're just allowing and you're radiating your own inner value.
To be expressed.
To go out into the outer world.
And in that sense,
It no longer really becomes a quote unquote performance,
Right?
It's not about performing because oftentimes when we think about performing,
It's about being something other than what we are,
Right?
We have to look good.
We have to be good.
We've got to be perfect.
And it puts us on edge outside of ourselves a bit when we think that we've got to perform.
And how many of us feel this every day?
I've got to produce,
I've got to perform,
I've got to make things happen.
But that essence of being and meditation coaching when you have someone else also focused on what it is that you want to create and do well in,
Exceed in,
Excel in.
And it helps you align your energy focus.
