So many people feel alone at times,
Even when life looks full from the outside,
Even when surrounded by others.
If you've been feeling that way,
A little disconnected,
A little unseen,
Know that you're not the only one.
You are not alone.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in and exhale gently.
Again,
Breathing in and letting go.
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
No need to change it,
Just noticing.
And as you sit here,
Notice what's present for you.
Any heaviness,
Any quiet ache,
Any sense of distance or disconnection.
There's nothing to fix right now.
Just gently acknowledging this is here.
Bring one hand to your heart or somewhere that feels comforting and feel the warmth of your own touch.
Let your breath move beneath your hand,
Rising and falling.
And silently repeat,
Even in this moment,
I am here for myself.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am holding myself with care.
In,
I am here.
Out,
I am holding myself with care.
Now imagine a soft,
Warm light within your chest,
A gentle glow.
With each breath,
It becomes a little brighter,
A little steadier.
This light is your presence,
Your awareness,
The part of you that has stayed with you through all of this time.
You are everything.
And from this place,
Imagine gentle threads extending outward,
Connecting you to people you've known,
To moments of kindness you've experienced,
To others somewhere in the world who are feeling just like you right now.
Imagine those threads like golden light spreading around the world and connecting you with others who are feeling the same things you're feeling right now.
You may not see them,
But you are not separate from them.
Let yourself rest in that idea,
Even just a little,
And gently repeat,
I am not alone in feeling this.
I am worthy of connection.
I belong even here.
Stay here for a few breaths,
Letting these words settle softly.
No need to force belief,
Just allowing the possibility.
Now take a slightly deeper breath in and slowly exhale.
Feel your breath.
Feel your body again,
Supported,
Grounded.
