Welcome to this meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle.
You may choose to close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Take a slow,
Gentle breath in.
And as you exhale,
Begin to release any tension you may be carrying.
For these next moments,
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing you need to achieve.
Nothing you need to sew.
This is a time.
To come home to yourself.
Perimenopause can be a time of profound transformation.
Yet many women quietly experience a feeling of becoming invisible.
Of giving so much,
Adapting so much.
And wondering if anyone truly sees the changes happening within.
Perhaps you have noticed that something is shifting.
A change in your energy.
A change in the way you experience the world.
A change in how you see yourself.
Some changes may be visible to others.
But many of the deepest changes happen quietly inside.
They are the moments of reflection.
The questions you begin asking yourself.
The feeling that an old version of you is changing.
While a new version of you is beginning to emerge.
And sometimes during this transition,
It can feel as though the world carries on around you without noticing.
You continue showing up.
You continue caring.
You continue supporting the people you love.
But somewhere inside,
There may be a quiet voice asking.
Does anyone see what I'm going through?
Does anyone notice how much is changing within me?
Does anyone see me?
Today this meditation is an invitation to begin seeing yourself again.
To offer yourself the recognition.
Compassion and kindness you may have been longing for.
So please take another slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Allow yourself to soften.
Allow yourself to put down,
Just for these moments,
The roles you carry,
The expectations,
The responsibilities.
The need to always be capable.
For so long,
Perhaps you have been the person others depend on.
The one who remembers.
The one who organizes.
The one who supports.
The one who keeps everything moving.
And while these parts of you are beautiful,
You are more than what you do for others.
You are more than your productivity.
You are more than how much you give.
You are a whole person with your own needs,
Your own dreams,
And your own inner world.
Take a moment to notice.
What parts of yourself have you been placing quietly in the background?
What feelings have you been carrying without giving yourself space to acknowledge them?
What changes within you have gone unseen?
There is no need to judge your answers.
Simply notice.
Simply listen.
Now imagine yourself sitting in a peaceful,
Safe place.
A place where you feel completely at ease.
Perhaps it is somewhere in nature.
A quiet garden.
A forest path.
A place beside the ocean.
A place where you can simply be yourself.
And in this peaceful place.
Imagine meeting yourself.
The woman you are today.
Not the woman you used to be.
Not the woman you think you should be.
But the woman who is here now.
Take a moment to truly see her.
Notice her face.
Notice her eyes.
Notice everything she has carried.
Everything she has experienced.
Everything she has overcome.
See the years of love she has given.
The challenges she has moved through.
The wisdom she has gained.
The strength she has shown.
And offer her these words.
I see you.
I see how much you have carried.
I see how much you have given.
I see the changes happening within you.
I am here with you.
Sometimes we fear that change means losing ourselves.
That becoming different means leaving behind who we once were.
But perhaps this transition is not about losing yourself.
Perhaps it is about meeting yourself more deeply.
You are not disappearing.
You are evolving.
You are not becoming less.
You are becoming more aware of what truly matters.
More aware of what nourishes you.
More aware of what you need.
More connected to your own wisdom.
The woman you are becoming does not need to earn her worth.
She does not need to prove that she deserves care.
She does not need to apologize for taking up space.
She is already enough.
Now gently place a hand over your heart if that feels comfortable.
Feel the warmth and comfort of your own touch,
Or you can just imagine it if you prefer.
And repeat silently or softly allowed.
I see myself.
I honor myself.
I listen to myself.
My needs matter.
My feelings matter.
My voice matters.
I do not need to be everything for everyone.
I allow myself to receive care and compassion.
I embrace the woman I am becoming.
Take a moment to imagine a gentle light within you.
A light that represents your wisdom,
Your strength,
Your experiences,
Your inner knowing.
This light has always been there.
It has been with you through every chapter of your life.
And now.
.
.
You are allowing it to shine more clearly.
You no longer need to search for your worth outside yourself.
You can return to this place within you.
A place where you are seen.
A place where you are heard.
A place where you belong.
As this meditation comes to an end,
Remember.
The world may not always notice every transformation happening inside you.
But you can choose to notice yourself.
You can choose to listen.
You can choose to honour the woman standing before you.
This season of change is not a loss of who you are.
It is an invitation to rediscover yourself.
To reconnect with your needs,
To embrace your wisdom.
And to step forward with compassion,
Confidence,
And self-love.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Carrying with you the reminder,
You are not invisible,
You are seen,
You are valued.
You are becoming.
And you are exactly where you need to be.
You you you
