I invite you to find your comfortable seat.
Gently close your eyes.
Journey with me into your breath.
Just feel your breath.
Notice the gentle rise.
Be with the gentle fall of your inhales and exhales.
Just like gentle rolling waves in the ocean.
Find the rhythm of your breath.
Notice if by simply giving attention to your breath,
You desire a deeper inhale and give your body that gift.
Inhaling deeply,
Feel your expansion.
Exhale fully,
Fully letting go until nothing is left.
Your body gifts you your next inhale.
Follow your breath.
Let your body breathe you.
Relax into being breathed.
Let your thoughts flow through.
If you find your mind wanders,
Bring yourself back with your breath into this beautiful present moment.
Feel into the senses of your body.
Let yourself get just 5%,
10% more comfortable in the position you've chosen.
Let your gaze soften behind your eyelids.
Bring awareness to your sense of taste.
The taste that lingers in your mouth from what you last ate.
Bring awareness to your sense of hearing,
The sound of my voice,
The music in the background.
Any ambient noises that enter your awareness are here to gift you this present moment.
Nothing to do,
No one to be,
Nothing to want.
Open to your sense of smell.
What wafts through your nostrils breath by breath.
Open to your sense of touch.
The grounding touch points of your feet downward towards the earth or towards your seat.
Your sit bones towards your chair.
When you feel the quality of the air around you,
The softness,
The temperature,
Feel the touch of your clothes on your skin.
With your eyes closed from the world of looking and seeing,
Draw your gaze inward.
Inward to the dark space behind your eyelids.
Inward towards the sense of your mouth,
Lips closed.
Where do you place your tongue in your mouth?
With awareness,
Can it just relax down away from the roof of your mouth?
Can you feel your heart beat?
Can you feel the expansion of your ribs breath by breath?
Drawing your awareness inward,
Imagine a beautiful gem,
A crystalline ball of light within your heart's space.
Just like a seed,
Plant a word,
A desire,
A mantra within this light,
Within this crystal.
What do you wish for?
Love,
Peace,
Happiness.
Let the seed within this beautiful crystal making its home in your heart space.
The light from this gem begins to travel with each pump of your heart through your arteries,
Through your veins,
Sending your desire through every cell of your body.
This light flows through you,
Entering your muscles,
Your bones,
Every cell lit up like stars against the night sky.
Just like your body gives off heat,
This light emanates from your skin,
Bringing your awareness just outside your physical body.
This light flows,
It vibrates,
It travels on waves from your body outward,
Filling the space around you.
This light fills your room,
Carrying your word with it around you and within you.
This light travels outside of your building,
Your home.
It travels down your street,
Through your town.
This light travels through your state,
Your country,
Your continent.
Broader,
It cannot be contained,
This light fills the space around the entire globe.
See the globe in your mind's eyes surrounded with your light.
And now it just takes off,
Filling the atmosphere,
The sky into space,
Touching the far reaches,
Touching infinity.
Your light is timeless.
Your light is present in every breath,
Every moment,
This moment.
Bring your awareness back,
Back,
Back to your body,
That seed of light within.
Bring awareness to your heartbeat.
Bring awareness to this breath.
You are guided,
You are loved,
You are protected.
You are vibrantly needed in this very moment.
Follow your waves of breath.
And now deepening your breathing,
We begin to bring this meditation to a close with a little wiggle of your fingers,
Wiggle of your toes.
After a breath,
And as you are ready,
I invite you to open your eyes to this moment,
This breath,
The beauty before you and beyond.
