Welcome.
Today's practice is based on self-discipline and spiritual effort.
What does self-discipline mean and how do I honor my commitment to spiritual growth?
Let's begin.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable way to be in the body.
Where the body feels holy and completely supported wherever it is.
Noticing the weight of the body drawing toward the earth.
Can we let our bodies be held in this moment?
Can we let ourselves be here in this moment for this practice?
Perhaps there is something standing in the way.
A thought,
A sound,
A distraction.
As we bring ourselves here to the breath,
To the sensations in our palms,
I'd invite you to ask yourself,
Why am I here?
Why am I meditating?
Why is this important to me?
And if we're on a journey of growth,
Who is that higher version of self?
Self-discipline,
Spiritual effort is choosing in this moment.
Choosing to move toward the highest version of self.
We might ask ourselves,
How do my actions move me toward this version of myself?
How can I make a commitment every day to honor the energy of this version of me?
What is it that stands in my way of showing up,
Of commitment,
Of spiritual effort?
Is there a belief that I hold that prevents me from continuing on this journey in a disciplined way?
What could I release in this moment so that I may have a free and clear path to continue to invest in this higher version of me?
I offer myself to this higher version of me.
I commit to myself through my daily actions.
I am ready to change.
Blessings.
Namaste.
