Hello,
Beautiful being.
I wanted to spend some time with you today and guide us in a short practice.
I like to call these types of meditations pocket meditations,
Because sometimes we need just a small moment to come home to our being.
We need something we can reach in our pockets for,
To remind us of our oneness as we move through our day or any uncomfortable moments.
Sometimes,
Even five minutes of grace is just what we need to approach the coming moments with love.
To begin today's practice,
We're going to close our eyes and make a nice space for ourselves to practice.
We can be sitting down,
Lying down,
Whatever feels comfortable in this moment.
We're going to take a nice big breath of air from our beautiful planet in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Beautiful.
Now,
Let's do that again.
Only when we're ready to release the breath,
Let's do so with a nice sigh.
In a sigh,
We're going to carry with it any stress for the day ahead or any worry about a specific situation.
Anything that you may feel has a hold on you.
We're going to let it go for this practice.
Now,
Let's take that big deep breath.
And out.
What I love about the act of sighing is that feeling of just letting go,
Just dropping even for a moment,
All that we are carrying.
Go ahead and take another cycle of breath if needed.
With your permission,
I would like to remind you that you have wisdom,
A wisdom that is the universe in a human body.
You are an earth being,
Ending and beginning every day,
Every moment.
Your blood is your ocean.
Your veins are your roots,
Your essence,
The cosmos.
You are connected to every bit of love that moves this planet.
You are the love that moves this planet.
When you look up at the sky in wonder of the marvel that makes it,
When you stand in the forest and listen to the song,
It sings with the birds and the trees.
Please remember,
Yes,
That is me too.
I would like to ask you now to turn your head up towards the sky and imagine the sun gently sweeping every part of your face.
Let it take with it anything that may feel like too much.
Take a big breath of that beautiful air that is you and let go again with the sigh of release.
Throughout your day,
Things will come and go,
But you are nevertheless magic,
My love.
You are nevertheless connected with the earth.
You will always carry the wisdom of the stars.
You will always be this ancient love that is beginning and ending.
May you remember that you have power.
May you remember this all throughout your day.
May you remember this as you move through your life.
