Hello,
Beautiful being.
I know sometimes it can feel like the outer world is taking us in its grasp and we can forget we are being moved by a collective perception instead of our own.
Our inner voice can feel like it is being lost among the crowd and before we know it,
It is difficult to know who we are or what makes us.
Each day can feel like it is being lived for someone else,
For the collective,
Our families,
Our friends,
A system.
Interactions may feel like we are altering our voice to fit into places we want to belong.
In this madness,
In this going and going,
It can feel impossible to be comfortable in this silence.
It can feel impossible to give ourselves a moment to breathe.
Often it is difficult to drop what we are hanging onto so that we can hear our deepest selves.
Today I would like to encourage and guide us into dropping it all for a moment,
To put down the heavy box of all we have been collecting,
To become totally empty so that we may hear our being.
In your space of practice today,
I invite you to either sit or lay down whatever feels most comfortable today.
And I would like you to close your eyes.
Take a deep breath of air in through your nose and out your mouth.
And one more.
For a moment,
Can you drop what you are carrying?
Drop for a moment the things you need to do today,
The things your mind is asking you to do today,
The to-do list of the week or month that may be trying to pull you away from this moment.
Can you drop for a moment the perceptions and projections of your life,
What was said yesterday or even years ago,
What you need others to do and to be to make you feel alone okay?
Can you drop for this moment what you may be feeling about yourself,
What you feel about others?
Drop your memories,
The good,
The bad,
And the ones you are trying to create.
When a thought comes up,
Let it,
But then let it go as if it only came to pass by.
Become empty,
Love.
Take your time.
I would like you to bring your hands to your heart without all of this weight,
Without a single thing to hang on to.
Are you still here?
Are you alive?
Can you feel your wise heart beating in your chest without needing to run?
Are you here without the projections placed on you?
Are you still you?
Are you nature like the trees that sit quiet in the forest,
Trusting that earth will grow them?
Without the need,
Is there anything to want or are you already everything?
Without the walls,
Are you connected to everything that is?
Without the fear or worry,
Are you safe here?
Is this not the beautiful body you traveled through the cosmos to get to,
To experience?
Is the pain seemingly lighter without having to uphold it?
Are you able to rest in this place?
My love,
In this place,
Is that enough?
Are you enough?
Dearest love,
Dearest human,
Dearest nature,
You have always been enough.
You have always had the silence within you.
You were empty before,
Trusting and open.
This is how you came into this body,
A natural life form that trusted its heart to the wind.
Maybe it does not always feel like it,
But it does not make it any less true.
It is not always easy to feel this emptiness.
We are not conditioned to silence the noise around us,
These projections.
We have not always been told to go inward for the answers,
For our truth,
For our own voice.
But that is the beauty of coming to practice and just dropping it all for a moment,
To remind us that it is in our nature to trust life,
To trust that our stillness has a teaching,
To trust that we are all in this together.
On this planet,
In the cosmos,
All energy and love flying like the wind in motion.
Today as you move through your day,
I ask that you try and remember this emptiness,
This empty that is in fact everything without needing to try,
That this love is who you are,
Who we are at our core.
May you let this voice that is yours not only guide you through today,
But through every day,
Every moment.
And if you ever feel like you are losing that voice again,
If you ever need to come back home,
This practice will always be here for you.
I send my love for a beautiful day,
A beautiful life.
