Welcome to the stay with yourself peaceful sleep meditation.
Start by laying comfortably on your back with your hands resting at your sides and the back of your body supported by the floor.
You are welcome to use blankets and pillows under your knees or your feet for optimal comfort.
Close your eyes and take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
With each inhale imagine your tummy is an empty balloon being filled with air and with each exhale imagine your tummy softening as you release tension.
Let your body become heavy and relaxed with each exhale and allow your heart space to soften and open.
Start by imagining a white light flowing in through the crown of your head and down through your body into the base of your body into your root between your sitting bones.
Imagine this white light filling your body.
Next imagine an indigo colored ball of light floating right between your eyes.
Hold on to the picture of this indigo ball of light and watch it move evenly and uninterrupted.
And once you are able to imagine this indigo ball of light moving and rotating evenly and uninterrupted,
Leave it floating there above your third eye rotating evenly and uninterrupted.
Move your awareness into your throat.
Imagine a light blue ball of light floating above your throat.
Imagine it moving evenly and uninterrupted,
Rotating,
Glowing.
And now imagine the indigo ball of light and the light blue ball of light rotating and moving together simultaneously.
Indigo between your eyes,
Light blue at your throat.
Hold on to these two balls of light as you move your awareness into your heart space and imagine a green ball of light floating above your heart.
Imagine it moving,
Rotating,
Evenly and uninterrupted,
Glowing,
Rotating,
Moving,
Evenly and uninterrupted.
And as you imagine this green ball of light above your heart,
Imagine it rotating in unison with the light blue ball of light at your throat and the indigo ball of light between your eyes.
All three balls of light rotating together in unison.
Next,
Bring your awareness into your solar plexus,
Your chest bone and imagine a yellow ball of light glowing bright and rotating round and round,
Evenly and uninterrupted above your solar plexus.
Once this yellow ball of light is moving and rotating evenly,
Hold on to it and imagine it rotating and moving in unison with the green ball of light at your heart and the light blue ball of light at your throat and the indigo ball of light between your eyes.
All four balls of light rotating and moving together in unison.
Next,
Bring your awareness into your navel center.
Imagine a bright orange glowing ball of light rotating and moving above your belly.
It's glowing and moving evenly and uninterrupted.
Once you are able to picture this orange ball of light moving,
Rotating evenly and uninterrupted,
Bring it into unison with the other four balls of light.
The orange ball of light at your tummy,
The yellow ball of light at your solar plexus,
The green ball of light at your heart,
The light blue ball of light at your throat and the indigo ball of light between your eyes.
Five balls of light rotating together in unison,
Evenly and uninterrupted.
Lastly,
Imagine a red ball of light rotating and moving evenly and uninterrupted above the base of your body,
Your root between your sitting bones.
A red ball of light moving,
Rotating evenly and uninterrupted.
And once you are able to imagine this red ball of light moving and rotating evenly and uninterrupted,
Bring it into unison with the other balls of light.
The red ball of light at your base,
The orange ball of light rotating at your tummy,
The yellow ball of light at your solar plexus,
The green ball of light at your heart space,
The light blue ball of light at your throat and the indigo ball of light between your eyes.
Six balls of light moving and rotating together.
You can add to this a white ball of light at the crown of your head,
Moving,
Rotating,
Evenly and uninterrupted.
Seven balls of light moving in unison,
Glowing,
Rotating,
Bringing you into alignment,
Bringing you back to center.
Watching over you as you fall asleep.
Allow yourself to be heavy.
Allow yourself to be lulled to sleep by these seven balls of light.
