Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is focused on grounding and connecting to our Root chakra. Take this moment to get comfortable and sync into the moment. Notice places of tension, aches, pressure, and pains. Bring awareness to your physical body, scan each area from the top of your head to the end of your toes. Our physical body is an important piece of us being here on earth. Pay attention to it, listen to it, give it the attention it needs. Let go of anything that is worrying you today.

Welcome to today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation.

Take a moment to get comfortable.

Close your eyes and sink into this moment.

Start to pay attention to your breathing as you start to do a simple body scan,

Starting at the top of your head and moving down through each part of your body,

Noticing where you might be holding on to tension,

Where there might be subtle aches and pains,

Allowing yourself to sit in those areas a little bit longer,

Bringing awareness to your physical body.

Moving down through your head,

Into your shoulders,

Down through your arms,

Into each finger,

Scanning through your chest and your abdomen,

Your upper back and your lower back.

Notice anything that you might feel in your hips,

And then as you go down each leg,

Notice any points of pressure.

Don't try to change it,

Don't try to shift it,

Just simply sit with it,

Notice it.

Maybe stop there and ask what this is,

Where is it coming from,

And allow the answer to come through.

Our physical body is such an important piece of us being here on earth.

It's important for us to pay attention to it,

To listen to it,

To always guiding us.

Give it the attention that it needs,

And this is the perfect time to do so.

Once you've finished with your body scan,

Take three of those deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Releasing anything you might be worrying about today,

Anything that's weighing on your mind,

Just let it go,

At least for now.

Breathing into that beautiful body of yours and allowing it to soak up that beautiful breath,

All of that oxygen,

And releasing any negative feelings you might have about it.

I want you to imagine that you're standing in front of a beautiful waterfall.

It's cascading down the rocks.

There's a beautiful pond underneath it.

Look all around and see the beauty that you're surrounded by.

You notice there's two paths,

One to the right and one to the left.

Either one will get you to your destination,

So just pick one,

Whatever one feels best for you,

And start to follow it.

The path wraps around the back of the waterfall,

And both paths connect in the same place.

And in that place where they connect,

There's a beautiful tree.

You notice the green of its leaves,

The intricate lines that intersect along the bark.

The tree invites you to sit down in front of it,

So you take a seat.

The healing energy of the tree feels as if it's wrapped around you and holding you tight.

You feel a sense of warmth,

You feel safe,

And you feel secure.

The tree reminds you that this healing energy is available to you any time that you are in nature,

And all you have to do is open yourself up to it,

Stay present,

And allow this feeling to come over you any time you aren't sure which way to turn.

There is never a right or wrong.

There's only what feels best for you in the moment.

The tree invites you to stand in front of it and face towards it.

As you stand there,

You feel roots growing from the bottom of your feet into the earth below you.

With every moment that passes,

They grow deeper and more intertwined into Mother Earth,

Until finally,

You feel them reach the core of the earth.

You notice that the deeper they grow,

The more stable you feel.

And the tree reminds you that it only has the ability to radiate such beauty to the external world because of the roots that cannot be seen,

Digging deep into the earth and providing the nourishment it needs to reach the heavens.

And it wants you to feel that in yourself.

It wants you to stand in that power and feel what it feels like to be so connected,

So stable,

So safe,

That very little can knock you around.

Breathe in what that feels like.

Allow yourself to sit with it.

The tree has one more request.

It asks you to lean forward and let its trunk catch you since your feet are still connected to the ground below you.

Consider it a universal trust ball.

And with total trust,

You allow the tree to catch you.

As you place your hands on the tree,

It wants to give you a message and it does so now.

You take a moment to soak in how supported and safe you feel at this point in time.

As you sit with that feeling and notice how it feels in your physical body,

In your emotional body,

In your spiritual body,

The roots that were connected to your feet begin to dissolve.

At this point,

You start to come back into your body,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes,

Stretching out your neck.

Taking three more deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth as you feel utter gratitude for the physical body that you've been given as your vessel to carry out your mission on this earth.

Whenever you feel ready,

You can open your eyes.
