This short practice is here to help you feel centered and calm before starting your decluttering journey,

Whether it's organizing your space or clearing mental clutter.

Let's ground ourselves and prepare with clarity and ease.

Find a comfortable spot to sit or stand with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Close your eyes or keep a soft gaze,

Whatever feels right to you.

Take a moment to notice the surface beneath you,

The support beneath your feet,

And the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Now let's take three grounding breaths together.

Inhale deeply through the nose,

Feeling the cool air fill your belly.

Slowly exhale through your mouth,

Releasing tension.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply.

And sigh out.

One more time.

Inhale fully.

And exhale completely.

As you breathe,

Notice any areas of tension.

Your shoulders,

Jaw,

Or the space between your eyebrows.

Gently soften those areas with each exhale.

Now picture a warm light above you,

Pouring down from the top of your head.

At the same time,

Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet,

Reaching deep into the earth.

Feel those roots anchoring you,

Bringing stability and calm.

With each inhale,

Drawing energy from the earth through those roots.

Feel this golden light rising into your body,

Filling you with clarity and purpose.

With each exhale,

Let go of mental clutter with a grateful heart.

Anything that doesn't serve you can be released now.

Bring to mind the space you're about to declutter.

Without judgment,

Observe it as it is.

Now imagine yourself moving through that space with ease.

See yourself choosing what to release,

Feeling lighter with each step.

Picture the space becoming clearer,

More aligned with your energy.

When you're ready,

Place your hands over your heart and set an intention.

I release what no longer serves me to create space for what truly supports me.

I entrust the future to my inner knowing.

Take one final deep breath in,

Hold it briefly,

And exhale fully.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Bring movement back into your body,

And step into your task with calm focus and grounded energy.

Dear Rebecca, thank you for offering this wonderfully effective visualization meditation to declutter with clarity and calm to create joyful space-use alignment. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’ฅ On my first listen, I wasn't planning on decluttering that day, so I still visualized my kitchen space and a plan materialized that I later put into a step-based process to prevent overwhelm. I had already decluttered this area once, but this time it was to be from both a current useful and legacy/death decluttering perspective. This meditation was a perfect way to pre-plan my kitchen legacy decluttering. A couple of days ago, I decided to do a few steps on my decluttering plan, so I listened to the meditation again before the session and it helped me focus and joyfully move on following my step process!! I already have a huge box of items for the charity shop. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I'm so grateful for your guidance...๐Ÿชท๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿชท
