You are listening to a meditation from Sound Science Soul.
This meditation is a method of problem solving based on and from the Mirror of the Mind method and the Silva method.
It changes your thinking from problem-oriented thinking to solution-focused thinking.
You will transform one of your problems into a solution or goal.
You will visualize the full-length mirror with a frame.
The frame will be blue when you are seeing your problem.
And you change the frame to white when you create the solution you desire.
The point is to reprogram your mind so that it sees the problem as a project instead.
Whenever you think of this problem going forward,
You will see it differently.
It will have less control of you and you will have greater power to work it out.
Positive thinking is powerful and when you use other levels of your mind you gain access to more creative abilities.
First,
Let's get you settled in your body and your nervous system in a calm state.
You're going to take a total of six breaths,
But the first three will be to calm and center you.
The next three are to help guide you to a deeper level of mind.
Follow along.
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
For these first three breaths,
You will take deep,
Slow breaths through the nose until your abdomen expands like a balloon.
And then you will release the breath through the mouth slowly.
You want to completely expel the breath and relax your body,
Deepening the relaxation with each breath.
Let's begin.
Breathe in deeply through the nose,
Filling your abdomen.
And then pause shortly and hold the breath.
And then expel the breath completely.
Allow your body to relax and any tension in your shoulders to subside.
Breathe in deeply again,
Filling up your abdomen.
Pause and hold.
And then release the breath fully but slowly,
As though you are very slowly deflating the balloon.
Feel any pressure in your chest release.
Breathe in a final last time.
Pause and hold.
And then blow a steady stream of air from your mouth as you release the breath.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Keep releasing the breath until your lungs are completely empty and you feel much less tension throughout your body.
Now you will count in a very specific way while breathing in order to begin to go deeper into your mind.
It's called the 3-2-1 method and you can use it anytime you want to,
To do this meditation quickly on your own.
Take a deep breath and while exhaling visualize and repeat in your head the number 3 three times.
Take another deep breath and while exhaling visualize and repeat in your head the number 2 three times.
Take a final deep breath and while exhaling visualize and repeat in your head the number 1 three times.
You will now go to an even deeper level of mind as I count from 10 to 1.
On each number you will go deeper and deeper entering a deeper level of mind and relaxation.
10 9 8 you are feeling more and more relaxed going deeper.
7 6 deeper and deeper you go.
5 4 3 deeper and deeper into your mind.
2 1.
You are at a deeper level of mind fully relaxed.
Visualize a peaceful scene here that you have experienced.
We'll pause here so you can recall a scene that puts you at peace.
A place or experience you love.
A place or experience you feel most relaxed.
Where you feel most yourself are able to be yourself.
Or something you've just seen that is so remarkably beautiful that it evokes a sense of peace in you.
We'll pause while you build this scene.
You are learning to use more of your mind.
Repeat these statements in your mind after me.
My greater mental abilities are for bettering humanity.
Every day I get better and better feeling better and better.
Positive thoughts bring me what I desire.
I have full control and authority at different levels of mind.
Now visualize a full length mirror with a blue frame.
See any people,
Things or scenes representing the problem you want to solve.
Take a bit to build your visualization in the mirror and we will pause while you do this.
Now that you have the problem clearly depicted on the scene,
Visualize fully erasing the problem from the mirror.
See yourself holding an eraser if it helps and see every last piece of the problem erased from the mirror.
Once everything is erased,
Now move the mirror to the left and change the mirror's frame to white.
Visualize a solution image on the mirror,
What you would like to see happen,
The goal you have in mind.
You may even now see a solution you haven't thought of before.
Or the solution or a different solution may even come later when you think about the problem another time.
Take a bit now to imagine and build your solution image on the mirror.
We will pause while you do.
Now the problem becomes a project.
You will no longer call it a problem.
Every time you think of the project,
Now you will visualize a solution image instead of the problem image.
You can use these levels of the mind to create.
I'm going to count from one to five.
When I get to five,
You will open your eyes,
Be wide awake,
Feeling healthy,
Feeling better than before.
One,
Two,
Three,
Awakening fully,
Feeling better.
Four,
Five.
Open your eyes,
You are wide awake,
Feeling better than before.
