Sarah guides you through a somatic gratitude practice to feel in your body the positive emotions that you receive from your chosen items of gratitude. It is a practice to honour what you are grateful for today, and return the light and love to those people, situations, opportunities, places and things. Recorded on a beautiful beach on Vancouver Island, you will hear subtle nature sounds in the background of ocean waves and birds.

Welcome to today's gratitude practice.

You will be tuning in to what you are truly grateful for in your life in this present moment,

Acknowledging its contribution to your life,

How its presence in your life makes you feel,

And honoring each situation with love and gratitude to cultivate even more of these blessings in your life.

Start by getting nice and comfortable,

Whether that's sitting upright or lying down,

It's up to you.

Just take a moment to settle into your chosen position and begin to soften your body into a relaxed state,

Relaxing all the muscles up your body,

From your toes,

Up your legs,

Up into your torso and core,

Your shoulders,

All the way down your arms to your fingertips,

And up into your neck and face.

Just let it all go.

You're fully supported by the ground below you.

Take a brief moment to bring to mind something you are truly grateful for in your life in this very moment.

It could be as simple as your body keeping you alive and well,

Or as grand and as big as a life change in a positive direction.

It all counts towards creating a life you are living and experiencing in each moment.

As you bring your left hand to your heart,

Your right hand onto your belly,

Begin to slow and deepen your breath,

Drawing the air down into your belly as you inhale,

Allowing your whole belly and chest to expand,

And as you exhale,

Just letting the chest and belly fall and contract naturally.

Everything is slow and with ease.

Nothing is forced.

Bring your attention to what you would like to honor with your gratitude this morning.

Visualizing the situation,

Opportunity,

Thing,

Person or experience in your mind's eye,

And begin to feel in your body how it feels to be immersed in this experience.

Whatever you're choosing to honor with your gratitude,

What sensations does this thing bring to your body?

How does it make you feel?

Truly feel that in your body with your whole being,

And continue to breathe slowly and deeply into the space under your hands.

As you inhale,

Create the intention to draw in high vibration love energy into your being.

You can visualize drawing this high vibration white light into your chest.

This white light feels good.

It feels light and warm,

Refreshing and replenishing,

Healing and energizing.

This love energy is expanding inside of you as you inhale and expand your belly and chest.

With each breath in,

You're amplifying the energy,

And it's all encompassing feeling of gratitude within your body.

Inhaling and exhaling,

Just enjoying this feeling of expanding the love energy with each breath.

As you exhale,

It is time to visualize sending this beautiful high vibration,

Loving energy of gratitude out to the thing that you'd like to honor today.

Whatever you brought to mind that you are feeling truly grateful for today,

Even if it's reflecting it right back to your own body or your own being.

As you exhale,

Visualize sending this brilliant white light out of your body and towards the direction that you want to honor and feel grateful for.

Shower this situation,

Opportunity,

Person,

Thing,

Just shower it with this vibrational white love energy.

There is an ever flowing abundance of love energy inside of you,

So you'll never run out.

You can send as much as you'd like with each exhale,

Just letting it flow with ease and grace.

It feels nourishing and energizing.

Inhaling this high vibration white light,

Expanding it in your being and exhaling it back out.

Taking a couple more breaths,

Beginning to seal off the stream of energy that you were sending out and just letting yourself tune inwards into your body and being,

Noticing how you feel,

Just breathing naturally,

Not changing its tempo or depth.

As you go about your day or evening,

You can continue to feel this gratitude as it's a feeling that is always accessible and available to you.

As we come to the end of this particular practice,

Bring your hands together over your heart.

Then bring your palms together over your heart and gently rub your hands together back and forth to create a little bit of heat,

Bringing them up over your eyes and flutter your eyes back open softly into the light around you.

Welcome home and have a beautiful day.
