Begin by taking a deep breath in,
Exhaling and surrendering your body to the earth,
Bringing all of your attention and awareness to your breath.
Slow your breathing,
Intentional inhales,
Steady,
Slow exhale.
Listen the music swirling around you,
Putting your mind to rest,
As if taming a snake,
Hypnotizing as you feel deep relaxation,
Surrendering all of your thoughts and all of your attachments as you take this sacred time to go within.
On your next inhale,
Breathe deeply into the heart,
And as you exhale,
Crack open your portal to the other realm.
The bright light of your soul shines through,
And notice the color of your light.
Deeply breathing in,
Exhaling,
Expand that light,
Watching it fill the space around you.
End with your exhale,
And in this beautiful container of light,
An ethereal veil appears to the other realm.
You take your hand,
Sliding it across the veil,
And you find yourself standing on top of a mountain.
Allow your landscape to appear around you,
Feel the earth at your feet,
Paint the color of the sky in the landscape below.
A gust of wind comes.
The element of air begins to swirl around the space,
A guide for clear perception.
This gust of wind turns into a giant hawk,
And begins to fly above you and around you.
The seer,
The expansive one.
You stretch your arm out,
And the hawk lands on your arm,
Wrapping its talons around your wrist.
Gently,
But firmly,
You stare into its eyes.
The hawk says,
I am here to help you see your tower,
Go within,
And call forward your structures.
As you look into the eyes of the hawk,
You begin to see a reflection behind you,
As your tower begins to create itself.
Turn around slowly,
And see your tower upon this mountain.
This tower represents all of your structures,
Or maybe one,
Maybe you have multiple towers that bind you.
What does your heart want to show you about this structure?
See which tower you feel called to first.
You see a door,
And at the base of this great structure,
You head inside.
Is it filled with light?
Is it dark and shadowy?
A spiral staircase leads you to the top.
Maybe this tower represents beliefs and agreements,
The voices in your head that keep you trapped.
Notice the bricks,
Did you place them there,
Were they placed by someone else?
Maybe this tower represents a relationship,
A place,
A role in your life.
See if you can feel into its creation,
As you make your way all the way to the top of the tower,
Looking down below,
At the vastness of the unknown.
You might not even be able to see the ground,
You are so high up in the sky.
This ritual is to set an intention,
To purify that which gets in the way of the star,
To clear away negativity,
To make room for spiritual ascension,
And to rise we must fall,
We must feel the liberation of destruction.
I want you to feel into your attachment to the structure,
Are you desperately clinging on,
Are you doing everything you can to avoid the lightning,
To cling on,
Or are you ready for a radical shift?
Think about what you might be afraid of,
As you stare down into the unknown,
What would liberation feel like?
If you weren't afraid,
If you felt trust for that part of self that wanted to see this tower collapse,
I now want you to call in the star,
A greater power as you see and feel it,
It wraps itself surrounding the base of the tower,
And when you are ready,
Call upon the lightning,
As it crashes,
Breaks,
Crumbles,
And you fall,
Fall slowly,
Let go,
Be liberated by this destruction.
Maybe you fell into a feeling,
Maybe you fell into the cosmos and outer space,
Maybe you fell into the arms of spirit,
Maybe you are still falling.
Bring yourself back to the mountain,
See your tower crumble to the ground,
Behind it you might see a row of towers,
All of your attachments and structures,
Your helping spirits invite you to return to this place,
To sit amongst your towers,
To know that lightning may strike,
That the towers you hold dear may come crashing to the ground,
It is in those moments you are reminded,
You can surrender to the fall,
You will be caught,
You can create something new from the rubble.
Taking one last big deep breath in,
Exhaling and letting go,
Slowly allowing this sacred landscape to disappear around you,
As you come back into your body,
Back into the space,
Opening your eyes when you are ready.
