Settling yourself into your posture for your practice today.
Take all the time that you need.
Make contact with ground.
Perhaps looking around your space.
And orienting yourself.
To your surroundings.
Nature.
Place.
Contacting ground through the soles of your feet or your heels.
And you'll see it.
An invitation to your body to become heavier.
With every exhale.
Without needing the breath to be a certain way,
Perhaps just witnessing.
How does the breath move through you?
You Okay.
Are you moved by your breath?
Do you feel?
Have a body.
Receives the breath.
And releases.
And so we notice the sensation in the body and we stay with the body.
We notice.
How the skin feels.
With the expansion of the lungs.
The expansion of the chest,
The movement against the fabric of your clothing.
And then the contraction.
The constant drumbeat.
Of your heart.
How the body echoes with breath and heartbeat.
You We'll see.
Finding your heart space.
Be curious.
About what is here.
What do you notice as you drop your awareness into your heart?
And as your awareness touches your heart space.
What happens.
What changes?
And how is it for you to rest your awareness in your heart space?
What are the sensations?
Feelings.
The emotions.
Sometimes we can stay there with them.
Other times.
They kind of bounce in and out.
Touching in and then leaving.
How is it?
For you right now.
Maybe the process is more dynamic.
Maybe every in breath.
Drops your awareness into your heart.
It's a calling in.
To heart space.
And every out breath.
Are releasing.
A letting go,
An offering outward.
Into spaciousness.
Maybe this is the pulse of the practice.
Breathing into heart.
Breathing out into spaciousness.
Often with the practice there is a coming and a going.
The practice comes into focus.
And then melts away.
We can allow that.
Can allow our practice to breathe.
To have its own life force.
And rhythm.
Breath carries awareness into heart space.
Breath carries awareness out into spaciousness.
Hmm.
Curious again about body and sensation.
We come towards the close of the practice.
What do we notice is available here?
Can we feel hands and arms,
Legs,
Feet?
Can we feel the intimate spaces of pelvis and belly?
How is the heart?
After bathing in our awareness and our breath.
The jaw.
And the throat.
And the scalp.
And however it is,
Can we say yes to that?
Whatever it is we find.
It belongs.
Offering the fruits of our practice to ourselves,
To one another.
And to all beings.
Thank you for sharing your practice today.
Namaste.
