My name is Sneha Shah and today I am going to help you with relaxing your mind and body deeply.
Many of us have forgotten how to truly unwind.
Most of us reach out for our phones in an attempt to relax.
But that only creates more stimulation and more restlessness.
Most people tell me,
I wouldn't know how to do nothing because I'm always planning the next thing.
Does that relate to you?
So today let's make a beginning when we truly learn to relax ourselves.
When we do that,
The flow of blood increases in our body,
Giving us more energy.
It reduces our blood pressure and relieves all tension.
It also helps us to have a calmer and a clearer mind.
And we all need that,
Isn't it?
So let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
You could either lie down or rest your back on a chair.
And begin with taking three deep breaths.
Slowly breathing in and breathing out.
Focusing on the gentle inhale and the gentle exhale of your breath.
Now take your attention to the top of your head and allow yourself to relax.
If you are holding any tightness in your head,
Just allow it to relax.
Feel a warm wave of relaxation.
Flowing from the top of your head to the rest of your face.
Relaxing every muscle.
Allowing your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your tongue,
The back of your neck to relax completely.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Just a gentle inhale and a gentle exhale of your breath.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Let go of any tension you might be holding in your face.
Now slowly pay attention to your shoulders.
Now lift them up and release them completely.
Feeling a sense of relaxation as you release and allow them to drop.
Allow yourself to release any burden you may be carrying.
Just feel the lightness.
Breathe in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Slowly relax and release any tension you may have in your back.
Allow the warm,
Relaxing energy to flow through your back.
Relaxing every cell,
Every muscle,
Every organ.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Feeling the warm wave of relaxation flowing from the top of your head into your jaw,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your entire back.
And now take your attention to your stomach.
Allowing your body to function harmoniously.
Digesting every life's experience with ease.
Allow your stomach to relax.
Feeling the wave of relaxation flowing through it.
Down to your buttocks,
To your pelvis.
Relaxing every muscle,
Every organ.
Feeling the relaxation in your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves.
Flowing down to your ankles.
The warm wave of relaxation flowing through your body.
Releasing any resistance,
Just a wonderful flow.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Allow the warm,
Wonderful energy to flow to the soles of your feet,
Right up to your toes.
Releasing any tension,
Any tightness.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Feeling a wave of relaxation.
And repeat to yourself in your mind,
All is well.
I'm at peace.
I love myself.
