My name is Neha Shah and welcome to this wonderful healing meditation.
Today we will focus on relaxing all your muscles and organs of the body.
This meditation is perfect if you have been feeling any tension or tightness in your body.
This meditation will also help you release any tiredness,
Stress or discomfort that you may have been feeling.
This body scan will help you listen and connect to your body in a brand new way.
So to take the journey,
Find yourself a quiet place to relax.
Turn off your phone and dim the lights.
This is your time,
A time for complete reconnection and relaxation.
You can either sit down or lie down.
Just make sure that you are comfortable.
Let your hands rest loosely in your lap or by your side.
And whenever you are ready,
Just close your eyes.
Become aware of your breathing as you gently breathe in and breathe out.
If there are thoughts running in your head,
Just allow them to come and pass.
Just focus on your breath as you gently inhale and exhale.
Continue the breath as it enters the nose with a cool feeling and then its warmth as you exhale.
Feel yourself relaxing more and more deeply with each breath.
Your whole body is becoming heavier,
Softer and more relaxed as each moment passes.
Focusing on your breath as you breathe in and you breathe out.
We will now begin the body scan from the top of the head to the tip of your toes.
Releasing every muscle and every organ,
Relaxing deeply.
Bring your attention to the top of your head.
The forehead,
The cheeks,
The mouth,
The jaw.
If you are holding any tightness or any tension,
Just allow this to relax.
Feeling the relaxation flowing through your face.
Now taking your attention to the back of your neck and your throat.
Allow the smooth flow of energy to be restored.
Relaxing every muscle and every organ.
Continue focusing on your breath as you breathe in and you breathe out.
Now bring your attention to your shoulders.
Relaxing the muscles.
Feeling all the baggage and burden that you might be carrying.
Feeling the relaxation in your upper back,
Middle back and the lower back.
Knowing that life supports you at all times.
Life supports you.
Relaxing every muscle and every organ.
Continue breathing.
And now bring your attention to your chest and your stomach.
Feeling every muscle and every organ,
Knowing that everything in your life is working in perfect harmony.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Feeling the relaxation.
Now bring your attention to your upper arms,
Your elbows and the lower arms.
The palm of your hands right up to your finger tip.
Deeply relaxing and releasing all tension and tightness.
Bring your attention to your hips.
Moving down to your thighs,
Your knees.
Moving down to your calf muscles,
Ankles,
The bottom of your feet,
Right up to the tip of your toes.
Relaxing your body completely.
Every muscle,
Every organ,
Deeply relaxed.
Take a few moments and just become aware of the flow of energy within your body.
This is your wonderful life force.
Let's together take three mindful breaths.
Every time you inhale,
Breathe in warm,
Healing,
Nourishing energy.
And every time you exhale,
Blow out any negative energy that you may have felt.
Any stress,
Anxiety,
Fear,
Anger,
Disappointment.
Just allow it to release.
So take a deep breath in and exhale.
One more time,
Taking a deep breath in,
Breathing in warm,
Healing,
Nourishing energy and slowly exhaling,
Blowing out any negative energy from the body.
Now for the one last time,
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in warm,
Healing energy and then exhale,
Blowing out any negative energy.
Continue breathing gently.
Take a few more minutes to relax before you get back to your activities.
