Welcome to Wellness as a Way of Life.

I'm Rev Skip and this is number two in a series of meditations for you to set intention and to connect with your body temple.

Today's meditation is focusing on exercise and movement.

So if you're ready,

Let's begin.

I invite you to get into a comfortable place where you can connect with your body temple.

This meditation can be done standing,

Seated,

Or even lying on your back.

And if it feels comfortable to you,

I invite you to go ahead and close your eyes.

Let's begin with some centering breaths.

Take a nice deep breath in through our nostrils and a deep exhale.

Let's do that again.

Take a nice deep breath in through the nostrils and a slow exhale.

And one more time.

Take a deep breath in.

Now hold your breath at the very,

Very top.

Allow the energy and the vibration of the prana energy of your breath to regulate within your body.

And a deep,

Slow exhale.

And as we begin with each meditation,

I invite you to repeat your oath of wellness.

I will meet my body right where I am.

I will love my body right where I am.

I will allow healing to begin now.

I am whole and complete from the start.

I will not judge myself nor accept judgments from others.

And as we connect with the movement and the exercise for our body temple,

Let's keep in mind that this is for our growth and development in our wellness practice.

So we'll begin with our contemplative questions.

Number one,

How can I move my body in a way that feels joyful and supportive?

Let's ask the question again.

How can I move my body in a way that feels joyful and supportive?

Our second contemplative meditation,

What resistance,

If any,

Do I feel towards regular exercise and how can I overcome it?

Let's ask again,

What resistance,

If any,

Do I feel towards regular exercise and how can I overcome it?

So here are our affirmations for this meditation.

I will honor my body through joyful movement every day.

I will honor my body through joyful movement every day.

Every time I move,

I strengthen my body and my mind.

Every time I move,

I strengthen my body and my mind.

I am capable of pushing my body to new levels of fitness.

I am capable of pushing my body to new levels of fitness.

I celebrate my body's strength and ability to move with grace.

I celebrate my body's strength and the ability to move with grace.

I celebrate my body's strength and the ability to move with grace.

Take a nice deep breath in.

Exhale.

Feel the gratitude of your body and its ability to move.

Inhale again.

Exhale.

So this week,

I want you to step into a movement practice.

I want you to give yourself permission to do whatever's right for you.

It could be walking,

Dancing,

A bike ride,

Set the intention to move.

Thank you so much for joining me on this meditation.

Remember transformation is a choice.

You can choose today.

Namaste.
