Hey there and welcome!
I'm Rev Skip and today's meditation is focusing on clearing and balancing the root chakra.
So if we're ready,
Let's begin.
Find a place where you can feel comfortable.
This meditation can be done seated,
Standing,
Or lying on your back.
And if you feel comfortable,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Let's do a couple of clearing breaths.
Take a deep breath in for four counts.
Inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Slow exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Let's do that again.
Take in a slow breath for four counts.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
And in your breath,
Feel the groundedness of being in the present moment.
Let go of any distractions.
Continue to follow the breath and go within.
Visualize the base of your spine.
Now imagine a vibrant red light glowing there.
This red light is a representation of the root chakra.
This is the foundation of your energy system.
This is the energy of feeling grounded,
Secure,
And stable.
Allow yourself to continue to breathe into this root chakra.
As we continue to breathe deeply,
Focus on the red light of the base of the spine.
And with each inhale,
The red light is getting brighter and brighter.
And on each exhale,
The red light is getting brighter and brighter.
This energy gives you a sense of stability and security.
It also gives you a message of your primal needs.
When you are hungry,
When you are tired,
When the body requires rest.
This is also the energy of feeling one with the universe,
With the earth,
And with each other.
Imagine in your mind's eye roots leading from your root chakra into the base of the earth.
Imagine energy flowing through your root from the root of the earth.
Continue to breathe.
And as we begin to feel more stable and more connected,
We are free to release fear,
Doubt,
Worry,
And we can create affirmations.
So repeat after me.
I am safe and I am secure.
I am safe and I'm secure.
I am grounded and I am stable.
I am grounded and I am stable.
I trust the abundance of life.
I trust the abundance of life.
I am connected to the earth and I am nourished by its energy.
I am connected to the earth and I am nourished by its energy.
Take a deep breath in.
Big exhale.
Continue to imagine the flow of energy from the earth into the base of your spine.
Feel the energy circulating.
Feel the energy energizing your body.
You are stable.
You are connected.
Mind,
Body with your emotions.
Let's express gratitude.
I am grateful that I am stable,
Connected,
And grounded.
I am grateful that I am stable,
Connected,
And grounded.
Take a deep breath in.
Big exhale.
And right where you are,
Slowly open up your eyes.
Bring your right hand to your heart,
Left hand on top.
Take another grounding breath.
