I'm Rev Skip,
And today our meditation's all about the heart.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
Find a place that you can be still and quiet,
And you can focus.
This meditation can be seated,
Standing up against the wall,
Or lying on your back.
Wherever you choose to connect,
Make sure you stay awake and aware.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Go ahead and close your eyes and follow your breath.
Let's do a round of breathing together.
Let's take a nice deep breath in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold your breath at the very top,
And I want you to feel the energy of divine love.
You're in a space of kindness and compassion.
You're in the universe,
And a big exhale,
Release for four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
We turn to your normal breathing for recovery.
Let's do that again.
Take a deep breath in through our nostrils for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold the breath at the very top,
Feel the energy,
Feel the love,
And then release slowly for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Fully release your breath.
One more time together.
Let's breathe in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now we hold the breath at the top together,
And feel the vibration,
Every cell,
Every neuron being filled with the prana,
Being filled with light,
Love,
Compassion,
And release the breath slowly for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And continue to breathe.
Continue to remember that the breath is our centering point.
Now I want you to recall a time where you felt completely loved and supported.
It could have been a time with someone,
Maybe in nature.
Bring into your mind and into your consciousness.
Feel the energy from this memory.
Allow yourself to be cradled.
Allow yourself to be energized.
Allow yourself to be held in this energetic field of love.
Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
And I want you to see a wheel that's circling in this area.
Chakra means wheel of energy.
So this energetic wheel represents love,
Compassion,
Kindness,
Generosity,
And gratitude.
See this wheel of energy that's circling,
That's moving,
And see the color emerald green.
This green is a representation of love,
And with each and every breath,
See the wheel growing,
Completing a rotation,
And see the color becoming more vibrant.
Feel the vibration that's moving through your body.
Feel the green light that's flowing from your heart center,
And it's moving down the body,
And it's moving up the body,
And it's radiating out of you,
Surrounding you.
Feel the connection of love,
Compassion,
Kindness,
And gratitude.
Take a deep breath in,
Big exhale.
And as you are embracing the heart chakra energy,
You are now free to let go of sadness,
Resentment,
Anger,
Unforgiveness,
Hate.
You are free to let go of it because it does not belong to you.
Your true nature is love,
Kindness,
Compassion,
Gratitude.
And as you begin to breathe in and out,
Feel the energy of self-love,
Self-compassion,
Self-kindness,
And gratitude.
Allow this energy to fill you up so that you may show others love,
Compassion,
Kindness,
And gratitude.
Continue to breathe.
Continue to let go.
And as you continue to tap into this energy,
Let's affirm with our language,
Our affirmation for today.
Repeat after me aloud or to yourself.
I open my heart to give and receive love freely.
