Sometimes we get so overwhelmed with emotions,
We feel like we're carrying all the worries of the world on our shoulders.
If you feel like that,
This meditation will help you to let go.
Hi,
I'm Sita and I'm so happy to have you here today.
I am an energy healer,
A mindfulness meditation and life coach and I also coach parents on how to teach their children money management and abundance mindset.
Today's meditation is all about letting go.
So if you're ready,
I invite you to make yourself comfortable and cross your arms and legs.
Your back is straight and your neck and head are tall.
Take a deep breath in and out.
In through your nose and out.
One more,
In and out.
In and out.
All the way into your belly and out.
Very good.
Today we're going on a hike.
We're going on a beautiful hike together.
So I invite you to put on comfortable clothes.
Imagine you're putting on your running shoes or your hiking shoes.
The weather outside is beautiful.
The sun's shining.
It's not too warm and not too cold.
And you're really excited to go on this hike.
You're taking a big backpack.
At the moment there's nothing in that backpack,
But we'll need it.
So you can put it on your shoulders.
And then we're leaving your home.
And we're going on a hike.
Imagine you're walking along a beautiful path.
Every step you take down that path relaxes you a little bit more.
You hear the birds singing.
You feel the warmth of the sun.
And you're just taking one step after the other.
One step.
Another step.
And you're just walking in your own rhythm.
Enjoying the air,
Enjoying the freedom,
Enjoying nature.
You're curious what you're going to find.
You're open-minded.
You're going on an adventure.
The path is all clear and you're all by yourself and you're loving it.
It's your time.
It's me time.
And as you're walking along that path,
It goes a little bit uphill.
But it's not tiring.
You suddenly see something on the path in front of you.
And as you get closer you notice it's a little pebble,
A little rock.
And you bend down to pick it up.
And as you pick it up you see that there's something written on that little pebble,
On that rock.
And written on that pebble is one of your worries,
One of your emotions.
Something that you're carrying with you that you don't really need anymore.
Or is it stress?
Is it fear?
Worry?
You know what's written on that pebble.
You pick it up and you put it in your backpack.
And then you carry on walking.
Just carry on walking,
Enjoying the nature.
And then you come to another pebble on that path.
This one's a little bit bigger.
And you pick it up and there's something else written on there.
What is it?
You can see it.
Maybe it's a memory of an event that you can't let go of.
Maybe it's another emotion.
Maybe it's an argument that you've had and that's still within you.
Take that rock and put it in your backpack and carry on walking.
And as you're walking you notice that your backpack is getting a little bit heavier.
And your path,
The path is going uphill a little bit more.
And you come across another rock on your path and you pick it up.
And you can read another event,
Another emotion,
Another memory that's on there.
And you put it in your backpack.
I'm going to let you continue down that path for a few moments.
And you'll notice there's rocks and pebbles on that path and they're for you.
And I don't know how many there are but you do.
You know.
And you just pick up all the rocks and all the pebbles that belong to you and put them in your backpack.
And I'm going to be silent for a moment and let you do that.
Just continue walking.
You can do it.
And make sure you read what's written on those rocks.
You know what's written on them.
Pick them up,
Take them with you.
Own them,
They're yours.
So put them in your backpack and carry them up that hill.
Very good.
Your backpack's feeling quite heavy now probably.
And the path is still going uphill so you might get a little bit tired now.
It's a little bit tiring.
You don't really want to go much further and you don't have to.
So don't worry.
Just enjoy the nature around you for a moment.
It's still beautiful.
The sun is shining.
You've got beautiful nature.
Are you in a forest or maybe in a jungle or in the mountains?
Just enjoy it.
I know the backpack's heavy but we're almost there.
And as you're walking a little bit further on,
You get to a clearing.
And it's like a big open space.
And in front of you on that open space,
You see a river.
There's a beautiful river flowing down the mountain.
And the water is crystal clear.
It is absolutely beautiful.
As you get closer to the river,
You see a few fish swimming in it.
It's blissful,
It's beautiful,
Very peaceful.
And as you approach the river,
You see that on the side of the river there's a big pile of wood,
Timber,
Barks,
All kinds of pieces of wood.
Tree trunks.
And because you're a little bit tired of your backpack,
You take it off your back and you put it on the floor next to that pile of wood.
And then you open your backpack and you take out the rocks and the pebbles one by one.
And as you're taking them out,
Each one you put it in your hand,
You read what's written on there.
You see very clearly what's written on there.
You accept it.
It's yours.
But you also know that you don't need it anymore.
So you're going to take a piece of wood from that pile of wood next to you,
And you're putting that first pebble on the piece of wood.
And you give it a smile,
And then you put it on the water of the river,
On top of the water,
And you let it float away.
And you see how that rock sits on top of that piece of timber,
And it just floats down the river,
Happily jumping up and down in the waves.
And then you do the same with the next rock.
You get it out of your backpack,
You look at it,
You read it.
Is it yours?
If it's yours,
Acknowledge it.
Say,
Yes,
You belong to me,
But I don't need you anymore.
I don't need the memory,
Or this feeling,
Or this event.
I don't need it anymore.
I'm letting it go.
And you take a piece of wood,
And you put the rock on top of the wood,
And you put it on the water and let it float away.
And now I invite you to do this with every rock you have in your backpack.
Take your time,
As long as you need.
Don't throw the rocks in the water.
Don't be angry at them.
They belong to you,
You just don't need them anymore.
So you can let them go,
Lovingly and joyfully.
They love to float down the water.
Choose a nice piece of wood for every rock and every pebble.
Place it on it kindly and lovingly.
And let it go,
With a smile.
And you know that they're not going to stay on the piece of wood forever.
Your rocks are going to fall down and land in the water at some point.
And that's fine,
That's where they belong.
Wherever they fall,
They belong.
And they're going to stay there.
See how the water moves?
And it carries all your pebbles away.
It loves to do that.
It wants to help you.
And now your backpack is empty again.
And you're feeling so much lighter.
You put it on your back but you don't even feel it anymore,
It's weightless.
And you stand up.
And you take one more look down that river and you see a few rocks bopping on the water in the far distance.
And everything is so peaceful around you.
Birds are still singing,
The sun is still shining.
And you feel so light and so relieved and so happy.
You're ready for new adventures.
You're ready for your life to continue lighter and happier.
So you turn around and you go down,
Back home.
And it's easy to walk now because it goes downhill and your backpack is empty.
And you're just walking,
Skipping,
Maybe you're even running.
Because you're feeling so happy and so free.
Maybe you're singing,
Are you dancing?
This was the most beautiful hike you have ever taken.
And you're so happy that you took the time to do this journey.
And when you get home,
You put the backpack away,
You don't need it anymore.
For a long time.
And when you feel that you need it again,
Just come back and do this journey again.
Maybe you're collecting more emotions in the future,
You can always come back and do this journey again.
Whenever you need to let go of something,
You know where your backpack is.
And you know where to go.
But now you're ready to continue with your life,
Lighter and happier.
With lots of energy and joy.
So you're going back into your house.
And as you're entering your house,
You're slowly getting back into your body.
You're coming back to where you are.
You can move your toes,
Move your fingers.
And whenever you're ready,
You can slowly and mindfully open your eyes.
I'm Sita.
And I'm so happy you joined me today on this journey.
And until the next time,
I'm sending you much love and laughter.
