Welcome.

I am so excited that you have found your way to this meditation.

I am ready for change.

I applaud you for your courage and for taking the initiative to make a change in your life.

As Albert Einstein said,

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

So looking for change is the best first step you can take in order to create your new,

Extraordinary life.

The most efficient and long-lasting change happens when you take baby steps,

Ideally daily baby steps.

There is no need to rush ahead and try to climb a mountain within a day.

On the contrary,

Take one small baby step every day and you will be amazed at how far you will get in a few weeks or months.

Meditating and mindfulness practice can be a very valuable tool on this journey.

Research has shown that practicing daily meditation can actually change your brain structure and improve your physical and emotional well-being within 21 to 28 days.

Many people do not want to meditate because they think they need to sit in uncomfortable positions for hours on end chanting mantras like Om.

Let me reassure you,

That is a myth.

There is no need to sit in a lotus position.

Nor is there any need to meditate for hours or chant mantras that have no meaning to you.

A short 5 to 10 minute meditation will already show amazing results.

These meditations can have many different shapes and forms,

Focusing on different goals like healing,

Manifesting and visualizing your dreams,

Relaxing,

De-stressing,

Improving concentration,

And so on and so on.

If you are interested to learn these different kinds of meditations and their benefits,

You can do my 21 day meditation challenge,

Which will introduce you to all of them.

For today however,

We will focus on opening our body,

Mind and soul for change.

We will let go of old patterns that hold us back and we will open ourselves to new ways of thinking and living.

After this meditation,

You will feel excited and ready to start on your new journey.

So let's begin.

Find your own safe meditation spot.

It does not matter where,

As long as it is a quiet place where you can feel safe and won't be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so.

Make yourself comfortable.

You can be sitting,

Lying down or standing,

Whatever feels more comfortable to you.

Uncross your legs and arms,

Your spine is tall and your head and neck are straight.

Either focus your eyes on a spot or object in front of you,

Or you can close your eyes.

Whatever is best for you today.

Go within.

I invite you to take a deep breath in and out.

Try to breathe all the way into your lungs,

Deep into the last corners.

Try to inflate your chest as well as your belly,

All the way down as far as you can.

And then breathe out with a long audible sigh.

One more time.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Now imagine the air you're breathing in flowing into your body like a stream of water or a liquid light.

If it helps you to visualize it,

You might want to give it a color.

See the stream of air flowing down your throat into your lungs.

Imagine your lungs inflating and opening up like the wings of a bird.

The air is flowing into every corner of your lungs.

Your lungs are getting bigger and bigger,

Opening up,

Inflating,

Becoming lighter and lighter the more air they get.

When you breathe out,

Imagine this beautiful glowing stream of air taking away all blockages.

The air is pushing out all feelings of fear,

Inertia,

Depression and anger.

Imagine the stream of air pushing all the heavy negative feelings in front of it like a snow plow or a digger,

Sweeping out all the unnecessary unwanted weight you have been storing in your beautiful body.

Breathe out loud and clear.

Let go of all the burdens.

Out.

Out.

Breathe in again and fill all the space that you have just cleared with fresh,

Radiant,

Positive energy,

Light and vibrant air swirling happily and playfully through your lungs,

Your stomach and your abdomen.

Down into your hips and legs,

Invigorating your whole body.

Stay in this happy image for a few moments,

Enjoying the freedom and the lightness of it,

The relief of having let go of the weight,

The burdens and the worries.

Breathe calmly and easily.

Now,

Open your arms wide as if you wanted to embrace someone very dear to you.

Breathe in.

Close your arms and put your hands on your heart.

Breathe out.

Repeat after me.

Thank you.

Thank you for helping me change my life and create my new happy,

Healthy reality.

I am full of gratitude.

You're feeling calm and relaxed,

Refreshed and positive,

Full of joy,

Ready for change.

Slowly start bringing your attention back to your surroundings.

You can hear the sounds around you again.

You become aware of where you are.

You are safe.

Smile.

And when you're ready,

Slowly and mindfully open your eyes.

Thank you for meditating with me today.

I am Sita and I'm sending you much love and laughter.
