Good morning.
Welcome to a new day.
As you wake up,
Notice the natural pattern of your breath.
The air coming in and the air going out.
Now breathe in for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And out for four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
In for four,
And out for four.
In for four,
And out for four.
Let's now imagine the warmth of the sun's rays.
Imagine this life-giving force and all the energy it provides.
Now imagine these rays starting to hit the top of your head,
And as it does,
You feel its warmth and begin to feel energized.
Your entire body starting to wake up.
The warmth moves down your forehead and over your eyes and onto your ears.
It then moves down your nose,
Over your cheeks,
Over your mouth,
And covers the entirety of your neck.
This energy then to move down your shoulders now and through your arms all the way into your fingers.
You feel your body becoming more and more energized as the sun's rays flow now into your chest and through your upper back,
Lower back,
And into your belly.
Slowly it starts to move through your hips,
Your thighs,
Down your shins and calves,
And onto your ankles.
It then flows all the way into the soles of your feet and into your toes.
You are now completely engulfed in this warmth,
In this energetic light,
Floating in this life-giving energy as you start to feel all your organs and cells in your body wake up.
You feel motivated,
Excited,
And rejuvenated for a new day ahead.
Slowly bring your hands together and start rubbing your palms.
Now place your hands on your eyes and feel that warmth,
The love that you are giving yourself.
Gently release your hands and open your eyes.
You are ready to take on this day.
