Self-love allows us to accept who we are in the present and all that has brought us to where we are today. The affirmations in this meditation strengthen your sense of self-worth, self-respect, and self-love. They allow you to feel more whole and remind you that there is no need to wait for love. Only you can truly love yourself the way you need to be loved. This practice can be done by sitting on the ground or lying down with your eyes closed. Even better is to do this in front of a mirror.

Affirmations for Self-Love No one else can love you the way you can love yourself because only you know what you truly need.

Repeat these affirmations either out loud or in your mind.

You can do this sitting on the ground or laying down with your eyes closed or in front of a mirror.

Once you've found a comfortable position,

Place your hands on your heart space.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

I love and accept myself as I am.

I am unique and special.

I have a high sense of self-worth and self-respect.

I am capable of all that I set my mind to.

I have no need to compare myself with anyone else.

I love and accept my past.

I forgive myself.

I am safe.

I am my own source of freedom.

I am love.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And we repeat again.

I love and accept myself as I am.

I haven’t been being nice to myself about my body lately. I feel weak and tired and bloated. But I need to love myself more because my body has gotten me through some tough things and I know I’m taking care of it the best I can. I will revisit this meditation and keep working on the self love
