Let's take a moment to release what isn't serving us,
To let go of our past and forgive ourselves.
Find a comfortable position on the ground,
Feet crossed,
Hands on your thighs,
Palms facing up,
And gently close your eyes.
Now,
Breathe in for a count of four,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And breathe out for a count of four,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
In for four,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And out for four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
In for four,
And out for four.
Now bring your attention to the very top of your head,
The crown of your head,
And start to notice what you're feeling on the crown of your head.
Simply observe,
There's no need to judge or make any changes,
And then slowly make your way down to your forehead.
Move gently down to your temples,
Over your eyes,
Over your ears,
Move on to your cheeks,
Over your nose,
Down onto your mouth,
Your chin,
And your jaw.
And then slowly make your way down to your throat and the back of your neck.
Feel your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your wrists,
The palms of your hands,
All the way through your fingers,
Into the tips of your fingers.
And now gently make your way down your chest,
Your upper back.
Notice any tension or pressure you're holding on to.
Simply observe,
There is no need to judge.
Gently make your way down to your mid-back,
Your rib cage,
And then down onto your belly and your lower back.
Now slowly move on to your hips,
Your pelvis,
And now on to your thighs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
Your ankles,
Your feet,
Moving into the soles of your feet,
And then all the way into the tips of your toes.
Simply observing,
There is no need to judge or make any changes.
Just observe your body,
All the little nooks and crannies,
The curves.
And now repeat after me.
I am not my past.
I am not my mistakes.
I am not what people perceive me to be.
I am here in this moment and have the freedom to be whoever I want to be.
I forgive myself and love my journey.
