Hello,
Dear radiant being.
I am so glad you're here.
Please find a comfortable seated position and when you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Just take a moment to orient yourself,
Taking deep breaths into your body through your nose,
Feeling your buttocks grounding on your seat,
Taking in your environment and welcoming yourself as you are in this moment.
Noticing your state of being,
Noticing your emotions,
Noticing the state of your mind,
Your thoughts.
Is there a negative quality to your thoughts today or are you feeling happy and positive?
And I invite you to welcome yourself as you are in this moment.
Nothing needs to change.
Welcome your environment as it is in this moment.
And now bring your attention to your belly.
Taking deep breaths into your body,
Notice how your belly expands on the inhale and it contracts on the exhale.
And you can even draw that belly towards the spine,
Using your abdominal muscles a little.
And then allow that belly to expand on the next inhale,
Allowing this breath of life to enter you.
And now let go of the deep breaths.
Keep your attention at the belly.
Allow the muscles in your belly to relax.
And just notice the natural movement of your belly as you naturally breathe.
Give your body some time to find its own rhythm to breathe,
To breathe you.
Letting go of the control in your breath,
In the movement of the belly.
Let it all go.
Feel how there's weight in this breath.
And this weight,
This breath is helping you anchor deeper into your body.
Now moving from the analytical mind,
From the space of ideas and concepts and images and thoughts,
Down into your body,
Embodying yourself.
And without labeling your experience,
Without saying this is pleasant or not,
I like it,
I don't.
Just taking in this present moment through your skin,
Feeling the clothes over your skin,
No labels.
The sounds around you,
The smell in the environment,
Welcoming everything as it is in this moment.
And these words are already bringing you into the meditation.
Welcoming.
There is a softness in these words.
The mind can relax.
Making space in this moment for you to be here as you are.
Nothing needs to change.
You are being held in this moment as you are.
Allow yourself to be held as you are in this moment.
And now taking some deep breaths into your heart,
I invite you to find an intention for this day.
So your intention,
We can think of it as a desire plus an action.
An action that moves us towards that.
For instance,
It could be,
I pause often.
Today I pause often.
And the desire could be to be more present in your life,
To be calmer,
To be less anxious.
So I pause often represents the desire and the action moving you towards that desire.
And now I invite you to find your affirmation for the day.
So the affirmation could be something that's supporting you to embody a state of being that you want.
For instance,
I radically trust myself.
I love myself fully.
I accept myself completely.
I am supported by life.
I trust life.
So any affirmation that will support you.
And I invite you to write it down somewhere,
Your intention and your affirmation and place it somewhere you can see it all day.
The fridge,
The mirror,
Your desk,
Somewhere you can see it all day.
