Welcome.
We are going to go on a journey today,
A journey through a malleable,
Playful timeline.
You can start by scanning your space,
Making sure that it feels secure enough for you to close your eyes and feel anchored in safety.
If you're not able to melt away right now,
Maybe pause and come back to this when you have more privacy or less distraction.
You can start by taking a deep breath in,
Noticing the fresh,
Clean air,
And exhaling it out twice as long,
Inviting in that new energy,
And then exhaling to settle in so deeply,
Feeling your body at rest,
Held by the bed or the chair or the ground,
Sinking deeper as if you could make your body twice as heavy,
Still fully supported and safe,
Relaxing your jaw,
Forehead,
Shoulders,
Hands,
Stomach,
Legs,
Everything soft,
Melting,
Dissolving,
Feeling the weight of your body sinking into the ground,
Reaching down through the floor,
Through the dirt,
Even deeper,
Feeling so grounded,
Steady,
Held.
And at the same time,
Feeling a beam of light coming down from the sky,
Shining on the top of your head,
Knowing that all of the cosmos is here to support you as well,
Feeling both now,
Supported above and below.
Another deep breath.
Now we're going to explore a magical timeline.
Imagine seeing time all around you,
However it appears.
Maybe it's actually a line,
Maybe it's expansive like the ocean,
Maybe it's tunnels and spirals and webs.
However time shows up for you today is perfect.
And the invitation now is to choose a moment in the past when things didn't go quite right.
Now I'm not here live with you to help you hold the space,
So let's pick something that is uncomfortable or unfortunate,
But not level 10 active trauma.
Maybe more like a five,
A tricky conversation with a co-worker or a less than ideal parenting moment.
Maybe something from your childhood that feels unresolved.
No need to overthink this.
Just allow the situation to present itself and trust that what shows up first is the right one for today.
So floating up and visiting that moment,
That younger version of yourself,
Whether that means yesterday or 30 years ago.
Watching your younger self engaged in this situation that is not going well.
Just noticing,
Watching her hands,
Watching her eyes.
Is she inside or outside?
Just taking in the scene,
But without going down into the scene.
You can just float above it and see what that version of you needed.
Maybe it was a hug or access to a calmer,
Clearer mind.
Maybe it was a flaming sword or just information.
Whatever would have helped you in that moment,
Offering it now.
Sending that support back in time to help that version of yourself.
Now watching her use it,
Seeing a better outcome.
How does her breathing change?
How does her posture change?
What happens next?
And what about after that?
Just imagining the effects of this new outcome,
Rippling out through time and space.
All those subtle changes catching up with you today.
Riding those waves or those spirals of time from that moment right through to the present moment.
Feel the effect of this new reality landing on your heart and soaking in.
You can put your hand on your heart if that feels supportive.
And now maybe thinking that younger version of yourself for navigating a tricky situation the best that she could.
She made it through with what she had,
And now you've given her more.
Letting that go,
Coming back to your body,
Back to this moment.
Wiggling,
Stretching,
Blinking,
Reorienting to your space.
And trusting that you got exactly what you needed from this.
