You know those times where you are perfectly fine and everything's okay and there's nothing to complain about and you're like,
I can do this,
I got this,
But you know that that's not the full truth.
You know that there's something else going on,
Something that you can't quite name maybe,
But you know it's there.
There's awareness,
But it's this feeling that's stopping you from where you want to go,
But more than that,
It's keeping you where you don't want to be.
So let's go there.
Take a deep breath and tune into your body.
See what's already begun to shift just from turning this session on.
Notice how your breath wants to come through.
Is it slowing?
Is it tight?
Holding?
Is it wanting to be held with intention and consciousness?
With awareness of the deeper layers?
With awareness of everything you've been holding?
That every breath in and out has asked of you.
That every breath in and out has tried to show you.
Even when you couldn't handle it,
Couldn't face it,
Couldn't see it.
That every breath you've taken has invited you to pause,
To slow down,
To let things in,
To wait,
And to let things go.
Notice where you feel this in your body.
The tightness,
The awareness,
The holding.
Notice where you feel the pressure.
Notice where you feel the discomfort,
The patterns of yesterday,
The feelings of like,
This is not me.
Where am I?
And keep breathing.
Because we're going to start to get you some support right now.
Feel that.
Feel that part inside of you that has needed someone to say,
I see you.
I'm here with you.
And I'm going to help you.
And open up to that.
Might feel a little scary.
That's okay.
Open up to it anyway.
With breath.
And with allowing.
Let's work on that.
One more deep breath in.
And I want you to start to notice what's happening on the left side of your body.
What's tingling?
What's coming into your awareness?
What's wanting to show itself to you?
Through presence?
Sensation?
What's wanting to come alive for you to say,
I'm ready to move.
I'm ready for things to change.
I'm ready to be here with you.
And you may notice that you feel like you want to swallow it down or push it back.
That's okay.
Just feel that.
Stay with that.
Notice what it feels like when your left side begins to get more activity,
More energy,
More awareness,
More presence.
Notice what you feel in your heart.
Your soul.
And keep breathing.
Just keep breathing.
As this continues to move,
Bring your awareness to your stomach,
Your diaphragm,
Your core.
And notice what's been caught here.
What hasn't been able to move freely.
What's been stuck between who you were,
Where you are,
What you want,
What you used to be.
And how you used to be.
Like being caught in a spider web,
Pulled on all sides,
Wrapped up,
Tangled.
Imagine those ties,
Those chains,
Those things that have kept you where you were.
Loosening.
Dissolving.
Updating.
To see that they're not needed anymore.
That you're stronger than you were,
That you're not where you were.
And that you're here now.
Bringing in the movement.
The allowing.
Letting that left side come to life.
To integrate in the middle.
And to meet itself halfway.
Halfway between harm and healing.
Between left and right.
Up and down.
Between the past and the present.
The past and the future.
The present and the future.
The present and the now.
And find that space right in the middle.
Right in the center of all of it.
And breathe into it.
Let it expand.
With every breath,
Let more space be created within.
Letting your processing power come online.
Letting your ability to digest come online.
Letting your ability to break things down.
To make sense of them.
To process them.
To cut them into digestible pieces that you can do something with,
Instead of being the mountain that's too big to climb.
Keep breathing.
Allowing the pieces to fall away.
And allowing your breath to expand your capacity within.
To feel the movement.
The possibility.
This moment in time right here.
Just stay here.
Be here.
Let everything catch up.
And feel as that left side that we got moving and circulating and integrating.
Feel what happens as it begins to lean into.
To sense into.
The right side of your body.
Just to meet it right in the middle.
Not to invade.
Not to go further.
But just to say I'm here now.
I'm showing up now.
I won't leave you behind again.
I'll stay with you.
I want you to stay with me.
And let the left side of your body and the right side of your body meet anew.
And remember what it feels like to be whole.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and come back to the room.
