We've all been there - that feeling of if we just knew *what to do* we could do *the thing to do* and all of our problems would go away. But that's the whole challenge right there- we don't always know what to do and we definitely don't always know what to do to move ourselves forward in the way we want to - in a way that's safe - right - true - and in the way that meets us where we are, and where we long to be. This session helps you feel the feelings you haven't yet been able to name and connect into a new way forward by inviting you into the places within that are ready for what's possible - that are ready for the life you could lead, if only you knew how to move forward. Let the magic meet you, and let this session hold you through.

Sometimes when we feel like we don't know how to move forward,

It is really overwhelming and really difficult to categorize or know what to even do to fix it because we don't know how to move forward,

Which means we don't know the next step,

Which means everything gets jumbled either into one big mess of like what the heck do I do or into the awareness of I don't know what the heck to do and we spiral into the not knowing.

So let's work on it.

Take a deep breath and let yourself fully settle here.

Let yourself arrive and let yourself receive support.

And I know that that in and of itself can feel so foreign because we're not used to being helped by people.

We're used to trying.

We're used to being told that people are going to help us.

But how often does that help actually help us?

And there's some grief in there.

There's some sorrow.

There are some parts of it that feel really painful when you think about all the times you didn't get the help that you needed.

All the times that you were promised support.

The times that people said,

I know exactly what to do to help you move forward.

Or the times that they were like,

I have no idea.

Whoa,

That's such a big problem.

And then they made you feel like even worse for it.

I want you to let that come up.

Let those memories,

Let them rise within you.

You can feel where in your body they live,

But it might feel more just like sadness.

When grief sits for a long time,

Especially for things that we don't necessarily think that we should be grieving,

Right?

Like who says,

Hey,

When somebody promises you something or when you really have your hopes up,

When you think you're going to move forward and you've got the help and the support,

But it doesn't come through,

You can grieve that.

You can grieve the life that you didn't have.

You can grieve the guidance and the love and the support you didn't have.

Just breathe.

Your mind may try to grasp on all different things or make sense of or,

Oh,

Why didn't I know this?

Or how could I have known this?

That's okay.

Whatever it wants to tell you right now,

It's okay.

Grief,

There are a lot of different parts of the body that start to really come into this and that start to contract,

Hold.

Like when we go deep into the autumn,

Right before we get to winter,

Right before it turns over and it's just getting colder and colder and you've watched the summer disappear,

But you're not fully into the winter yet.

You're in a holding pattern.

What you want to do,

What you can do,

What could happen,

What was supposed to happen,

They're all bumping together because it's not like,

Oh,

It's a great day,

Let me go do things.

It's like,

Hey,

I'm struggling here and I don't have what I need to do those things.

Just let yourself feel that grief.

You're safe to feel that grief.

It's okay to let it move through.

It's okay if tears are welling,

But you're not quite sure why,

Because you've been moving towards coldness and contraction and closing down.

But we need to start to bring in movement.

Not even possibility,

That's like overshooting right now,

Just some movement.

I don't know how to move forward.

Well,

If something were to move and I could see myself moving forward,

Then I'd be okay.

Right?

I want you to feel that.

I want you to let your body,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Your heart,

Your consciousness know that you're ready to move forward.

And I want you to feel what comes up when you say that,

I'm ready to move forward.

You might even notice that the first time you say it,

It sounds like,

Ready,

Right?

Where your mouth has trouble to even say those words.

That's okay.

Say them anyway.

Say them imperfectly.

I'm ready to move forward.

I am ready to move forward.

Keep saying them.

And let yourself surrender to that forward movement.

We're not asking you to know how right now or to figure anything out.

Let yourself let go to let the movement come in.

Just breathe.

I'm ready to move forward.

Just keep repeating it.

Keep letting go.

Because there's a shift wanting to come on board.

A reminder.

Through the elements,

Through the seasons,

Through the rhythms of the world.

Just as we have this time where we move towards contraction.

Towards the winter.

We also have the time where we go through the winter.

Where we come out of the winter.

We go into spring.

And then we move into summer.

And you might feel yourself heating up inside or your temperature changing.

That's okay.

We're bringing a little bit of life.

Of heat.

Of rhythm.

This is heart energy.

This is small intestines energy.

This is the knowing.

That when one thing ends.

Something else gets to begin.

And when the not knowing what to do.

And not knowing how to move forward ends.

What begins on the other side.

What fears come up.

What memories come up.

What stories want to come up to say well.

If I were to move forward here's what would happen.

Bring that into your awareness.

Bring that into the consciousness.

Let it move through you.

Don't try to find it.

Let it show itself.

Let yourself see.

Let yourself name.

When I move forward.

I think or I know this is what's going to happen.

Because that's the real fear.

That's the real worry.

That's the thing that's been stopping the forward momentum all along.

So we're going to feel it now.

We're going to name it now.

And we're going to claim it.

So that it doesn't have to be lost in a drifted sea.

So that your system can know yeah.

I'm afraid I'm going to mess it up.

I'm afraid I'm going to not know again.

I worry that I could hurt someone.

I worry that something bad could happen.

I am so angry that if I move forward.

I'm going to have to deal with that anger.

I'm hurt by this and if I move forward.

It's going to hurt more.

Whatever it is.

Name it.

Say it aloud.

Take your power back from it.

By speaking it.

We're starting to get that heat moving.

Going out of that contraction.

And we are expanding open.

The potentials and the possibility.

And what could be.

We're expanding open.

What is.

Because that feeling of I don't know how to move forward.

That actually doesn't mean.

You can't move forward.

And it doesn't mean.

And this one might feel emotional.

That there isn't a forward.

For you to move to.

And this is that deeper knowing that we're bringing in.

That energy of like.

Yes.

I have moved through the grief.

And now I open myself up.

To what's next.

Let myself move forward.

Let myself move forward.

Let yourself breathe.

In this space.

Don't rush to come out.

And when it feels like you're ready.

You're going to say again.

I'm ready.

To move forward.

And this time you're going to claim it.

And this time you're going to mean it.

Stay here for as long as you need.

And when you're ready.

Slowly open your eyes.

And come back to the room.
