Greetings friends,
And welcome to today's session on the Divine Feminine.
Today's archetype is that of the priestess.
Priestesses are women who are knowledgeable,
Kind and learned.
They share their knowledge and use their knowledge to honour beautiful elements such as connecting to the goddess,
Or to nature,
Or any topic or subject that you feel passionate about.
Any woman who wishes to share her knowledge can embrace the role of the priestess.
And the goddess we'll work with to inspire our priestess archetype today will be the beautiful Celtic goddess Dana or Danu.
This beautiful goddess is a creator,
A mother,
But also extremely powerful and magical.
Overseeing divine magic she can help guide you to speak your truth,
To step up and share the knowledge that you have and allow you to guide others.
So with that in mind we'll prepare for our meditation,
Find yourself a comfortable place,
Make sure you are warm and comfortable.
As we gently close the eyes and allow the breath to become slow and easeful.
We'll take a little time to settle and to breathe.
As we feel our body settling and relaxing we feel safe and comfortable.
Safe to allow our mind's eye to visualise ourselves,
Walking along a busy street.
You're aware of the sounds of traffic and of people talking.
You can see people rushing from place to place and talking on their phones.
But as you continue down this busy street something catches your eye.
There is a large wooden doorway to your left.
As you look upon it you pause allowing the people to continue walking around you.
You slip out of the stream of walking traffic and gently push upon the door.
It moves easily and you feel drawn to move inside.
So unnoticed by the people around you you slip through the doorway and close it behind you.
All at once this great heavy wooden door has muffled the sounds of the street outside.
Everything feels much quieter and much stiller in this place.
There is a corridor before you and it is lit with candles in beautiful low flickering light.
You can smell incense in the air and the place feels peaceful and there is a respect for this peace you sense.
This feels like a sacred place and you feel drawn to walk down the corridor,
Unsure of where it will lead but feeling safe in your journey.
And as you reach the end of the corridor another door stands before you.
Once again it is a tall wooden door.
You may notice the wood is carved with patterns and symbols.
They may mean something to you or you may simply see them as beautiful.
As once again you are drawn to push open the second wooden door.
And here before you through this door is a beautiful round room.
And upon the walls of this beautiful room are row after row of books bound with beautiful colours,
Gilded edges and words glint in the candle light.
You feel a sense of awe in this place.
All these books,
All this knowledge.
You take in your surroundings.
There is soft carpet beneath your feet.
Incense and candle light fill the room with gentle light and gentle scent to make this place feel truly special.
As you approach a bookcase near you perhaps you will run your finger along the back of a few of the beautiful books.
And as you do so you notice each of the books have names of people along their spines.
And all at once you see your name.
A beautiful huge bound book has your name on the spine,
Glinting,
Gilded.
You gently pull it out from the bookshelf.
You feel the weight of this book in your hands.
You gently take it over to a large wooden desk to rest the book.
And the book falls open.
There is a large beautiful ribbon holding a bookmark.
And as the pages fall open you see before you in elaborate detail all of your accumulated knowledge.
It starts with your studies,
Your experience,
The things you've seen and done.
And then it moves backwards in time.
The things you have learned from your mother,
Your grandmother.
Recipes,
Secrets,
Ideas pass down through your friends and family.
Further still the details roll back to your ancestors,
Their knowledge of the earth and seasons and lunar cycles.
Your wisdom extends back through many eras,
Many centuries,
Culminating in you.
Take a moment to take in the details of this book,
These amazing details,
Elaborate.
Maybe you see them as words or images or even moving pictures.

" And when you feel you have taken in this sight,
Taken in this awareness of all the knowledge you possess.
Here perhaps you gently close this beautiful book,
And in small letters inscribed underneath your name is a little message from the goddess Dhanah,
A reminder from her that you have divine knowledge.
And by sharing with others,
You can guide as a priestess,
As a teacher,
As an inspiration.
It does not matter the form in which you teach others,
No matter how many lives you touch,
Whether it be one or one million.
You are an inspiration.
You have within you the wisdom of your ancestors.
You need to discern in your own So as the time comes for us to leave just for now our beautiful library,
Our book of wisdom,
We'll place the book back upon the shelf.
We'll return along the corridor and once more we will walk through the wooden doorway onto the street and it's still noisy,
There's still people rushing around but you fear now just a little stronger,
A little more confident as you have been reminded of your inner knowledge,
Your inner wisdom,
Your own inner guides.
So my darling ones as we prepare ourselves to leave our meditation,
Take as long as you wish to stretch,
To move,
To unravel and you may wish simply to sit with this meditation and allow your mind to wander,
To reflect on what you've seen or what you've felt.
But if you wish to and feel ready to do so,
As you take up your pen and pencil,
Your pen and pad,
I want you to take a little time to reflect on your own unique knowledge and there is so much within you,
This list could be very long.
So take your time,
Think about all the many elements of knowledge you have,
Whether it be how to cook a beautiful meal,
How to properly clean clothes,
How to find your way on a map and then through to academic achievements,
You may reflect on the things you've learnt at school,
College,
University and the things passed down to you through relatives and friends,
Little snippets of wisdom,
Of learning.
And you can reflect on this as a reminder of how much knowledge you truly have,
How much authority you have to speak as a guide,
As a priestess of your own inner wisdom.
But if you want to you can also reflect on how you might share this knowledge.
You might want to write a blog or an article for a magazine.
You may look for opportunities to teach others in workshops or classes.
You may even wish to begin thinking about writing a book.
They are all within your grasp,
You can share your knowledge in any way that you wish.
Remember the importance of sharing this knowledge.
Feel how you have benefited from this knowledge from others and think and reflect and celebrate the fact that you can now pass it on to others.
So take as long as you need my darlings,
Take time to reflect,
Write or draw and I will see you soon as we journey through our next meditation.
I will see you soon my darlings.
Blessed be.
