Day one.

Anyone can be an artist.

Today's objective is to recognize and embrace the fact that everyone has the potential to be an artist and to understand how creativity is a fundamental part of life.

Many people who don't engage in traditional arts hesitate to call themselves artists.

They often view creativity as something extraordinary,

Reserved for a special few born with these gifts.

But that's far from the truth.

Creativity isn't a rare talent.

It's a fundamental part of being human.

It's not just for a chosen few.

It's for everyone.

It's our birthright.

Creativity goes beyond just making art.

It's something we all do every day.

It's about creating something new,

Whether that's a conversation,

A solution to a problem,

A friendly note,

Rearranging a room,

Or even finding a new way to drive home.

What you create doesn't have to be displayed in a gallery to count as art.

Through our daily lives,

We're constantly creating and shaping our experiences and the world around us.

The world as we perceive it is our creation,

Shaped by our brain's responses.

We're constantly creating everything around us,

From the way we see a forest to how we feel the cold.

Every word we interpret,

Every sound we hear,

And every response we make is part of our unique creation.

Even if we're not making traditional art,

We're living as artists.

We gather information,

Filter it,

And interpret it,

Curating experiences for ourselves and others.

By simply existing,

We're involved in a never-ending process of creation.

Understanding that creativity is inherent in all of us changes how we view life.

It encourages us to see everyday tasks as chances for creative expression.

This shift in perspective can transform how we tackle challenges and interact with others.

It helps us see beauty in the ordinary and joy in creating.

Understanding that creativity is a common human trait inspires us to venture beyond our comfort zones.

It nudges us to pick up a paintbrush,

Write a story,

Or innovate in daily life.

This realization dismantles the notion that creativity is out of reach for the average person.

Instead,

It invites everyone to explore and participate in creative acts.

By doing so,

We not only enrich our personal experiences,

But the life of others as well.

Consider how dull life would be if every building was the same,

There were no books,

And your clothes were bare and dull.

To live as an artist means to experience the world uniquely.

It involves being perceptive,

Paying attention to the finer details,

And being mindful of what draws us in and what pushes us away.

Every choice we make is an act of self-expression,

A demonstration of our creativity,

In a universe where creativity is the norm.

Each of us,

In our own right,

Is a singular work of art.

So here's the practice.

Step one,

Identify your daily creativity.

Reflect on your day and identify three instances where you were creative without realizing it at the time.

This could be anything from the way you worded an email to the route you chose for your evening walk.

Step two,

Creativity reflection.

Write a brief paragraph about each instance,

Describing what you did and why you think it was a creative act.

Focus on how these moments contributed to your day,

Either by solving a problem,

Enhancing an experience,

Or simply adding a bit of joy.

Step three,

Daily creativity commitment.

Commit to one small act of creativity daily for the next week.

This could be as simple as cooking a new recipe,

Rearranging a space in your home,

Or writing a short poem.

Keep a journal of these acts and how they made you feel.

So let's sum this up plainly.

Creativity is not just about producing traditional art.

It's about creating something new in everyday life,

From conversations to problem solving.

We are all artists in our unique ways,

Shaping our experiences and the world around us through our inherent creative abilities.

What do you think?

One,

In what ways do you express creativity in your daily life?

Two,

How can recognizing your inherent creativity change your perception of yourself and your capabilities?

Three,

Can you think of a recent situation where you were creative without realizing it at the time?

How to self-baseline to measure for success?

To track your creative progress,

Start a creativity journal.

Each day,

Jot down instances where you felt creative,

Whether it was solving a problem at work,

Improvising in the kitchen,

Or even finding a new route during your commute.

Reflect on how these moments made you feel and how they might differ from your routine activities.

Over time,

This journal will not only highlight your inherent creativity,

But also encourage you to take more creative approaches in various aspects of your life.

Congratulations.

We have reached the end of this session.

In the next session,

We will explore the various sources of creativity and how we can tap into them to enhance our creative abilities.

Remember,

The more you think about these concepts and use them,

The faster they will work for you.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you.

As always,

Remember,

It's a great day to be alive,

And I'll see you in the next session.

Take care.

Bye for now.
