Welcome to this guide to meditation,
Space to honor all emotions.
There are a lot of emotions that we might feel throughout our day.
And those emotions might come with a lot of judgment and perhaps resistance.
But sometimes all we really need to do is just feel what we're feeling.
To feel those emotions,
To honor those emotions.
You know,
Holding space without judging,
Anger,
Fear,
Etc.
If at any point you feel the need to pause this video or to stop this meditation,
Please honor that.
And honor what works best for you.
And dump all the rest.
Find a place that you can go within for about 20 minutes.
Relax and breathe.
Imagine that oxygen as an energy,
Flowing up and down your body,
Helping you to relax more and more.
Visualize yourself in a place that you feel safe to be alone.
Maybe that's somewhere out in nature,
Maybe in a temple,
Or somewhere else.
In this place that you see yourself,
You notice a bubble of energy begins to surround it.
And this bubble of energy allows infinite amounts of emotions to be felt without any fear of judgment.
It also helps to contain this experience here,
So it doesn't affect others in any kind of way.
This is a special space where everything is going to be between you and your emotions.
Make yourself comfortable in this protected space.
Do you see yourself around water that maybe you can float in?
Or maybe there's an area you can sit down or lie down for a while.
Get comfortable,
And when you do the mood shifts to one,
Where you feel ready to feel into any emotions.
So take a deep breath,
Exhale,
And allow any and all emotions that are ready to come forward.
Feel into each one of these emotions.
Ask yourself,
How can you honor them?
If it helps,
You can imagine yourself bowing to them as they come to you.
Or even speaking with them,
Offering them some kind of sacred gesture.
Take a deep breath,
And allow yourself the space to honor all of the emotions.
Let's take a deep breath.
If you're not ready to finish up the meditation yet,
Just continue to hold space for yourself and come back when you're ready.
For those that are ready,
Imagine yourself doing some kind of dance or some kind of movement in this special space that helps you to honor all of these emotions that channel through you.
Now place your hands on your heart as a light begins to appear in that area.
See this light shining and shimmering.
Notice if it has any kind of color.
With every breath you take,
That light gets brighter and brighter and expands out.
Until eventually,
It completely surrounds you.
That light transports you back into the here and now,
Back into your body.
Take a moment now to wrap up anything that you need to,
And to breathe in anything you need right now.
Feel all of your awareness,
All of your consciousness,
And all of your power returning fully now.
Take a deep inhale,
Hold it at the top.
Hold for as long as you're comfortable.
And then,
When you're ready to exhale,
Move and stretch your body.
You can open your eyes as your breathing returns to normal.
