Connecting With Your Inner Child

During this meditation, we are going to connect with our inner child. Do you feel like your inner child could use some support and love? Join this meditation. We are going to visualize and connect. This meditation is for everyone.

Welcome to this new meditation where we're going to connect with your inner child First of all find a comfortable position either sitting or laying down And when you're ready close your eyes First we will be focusing on our breathing Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth Feel your breath going in and out of your body Breathe in and breathe out I want you to think about you walking through a forest You see beautiful trees and trees and trees And the sun is shining on your skin while you feel a little breeze coming at you You are walking barefoot and you feel the grass underneath your feet Feel what you feel, See what you feel, Feel what you feel And hear what you hear In a distance you see a little child coming your direction It's smiling at you and it's coming closer and closer Child is around 5-6 feet tall and you can feel the grass under your feet Child is around 5-6 years old and all of the sudden you realize that you are that child You are that child The child is coming closer and closer Take your time to observe You greet the child and maybe you can give the child a pet over their head or hold hands It also can be that you want to keep your distance for a bit And that's totally fine as well See the child and observe the best you can What does your little you look like? How does the child feel for meeting you? Maybe you want to say something to her or him Or maybe you want to go out and play together or just sit in the grass Take a few moments for this meet up Maybe you want to say something to the child How is she or he feeling? What do you see when you look into the eyes of the child? Is there something you see or feel? Whatever it is, It's fine Just observe it without judgment Take a deep breath and let it go Take a deep breath in and let it go Take a deep breath out Does the child feel any sadness, Anger, Hurt? Maybe it feels love or the need for something See what you see, Hear what you hear and feel what you feel Being surrounded by your inner child What is your child missing? What is their need? At the moment, You just hold the child Or maybe you let the child sit on your lap Give the child a hug and give it your energy and time Let the child know everything is okay You are safe You are safe with me You are no longer alone You are together and I will protect you I am here for you Just let me know what you need You are safe with me You don't have to be scared or feel alone We are grown now and I will protect you Breathe in and breathe out The child stands up and leaves The child is slowly walking away Further and further until out of sight You look up to the sun and feel the breeze flowing around you You feel strong, Empowered and connected You are one, One with the child within you You are energy and the child is energy within you Together you can rise and flow Together you support each other You are one, You are both Just like you are the sun, The moon and you are the air that you're breathing Put your hands on your heart and send love out of your heart consciously Love is the greatest freeing energy we have Breathe in Breathe out Send love out of your heart Now slowly come back to the here and now Slowly open your eyes and come back to the present moment Thank you for being here Thank you for connecting You are perfect just the way you are Just like your inner child is Namaste Namaste Namaste
