Welcome,

Beloved soul.

I invite you to sit in an upright position.

We're going to begin our practice today with some conscious breathing.

You're welcome to have the eyes opened or closed for this.

You can rest your hands like mine are,

Palms in one another facing upward,

Or maybe the hands are on the knees with the palms facing up,

However you choose to sit.

Feel the shoulders relax down and also back a little bit so the space across the chest is a little more open and broad.

As you inhale,

Feel the belly,

Ribs,

Chest expanding with breath.

As you exhale,

Feel the body settling,

Hips sinking down.

Inhale slowly and deeply,

Feel the torso filling with breath.

Exhale slowly through the nose.

Relax the lips,

Allow that space between the teeth so the jaw can soften.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Exhale slowly.

Inhale.

This time,

Pause and hold the breath for a moment,

Relax the shoulders,

The throat.

Exhale slowly through the nose until all of the air has been gently pressed out.

No strain here.

Inhale slowly and deeply.

Pause for a moment.

Exhale slowly and completely.

If you wish,

Gently touch the tongue to the roof of the mouth just behind the upper teeth.

Inhale.

Pause and hold,

Relax the body.

Exhale slowly.

With each breath,

Let's see if we can welcome a little more of that inhalation and slow down the exhalation.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Beautiful.

A few more rounds of breath like this on your own.

With each breath,

Become more aware of different sensations in your body.

Maybe aware of the body letting go and relaxing.

Final breath like this.

If the eyes are still open,

I invite you to take a deep breath.

If the eyes are still open,

I invite you to gently close the eyes.

Breathe comfortably naturally.

If your natural breath is very shallow,

You may wish to consciously deepen the breath.

Feel your body breathing,

Sitting.

Now for a moment,

Imagine that you are sitting across from your body,

Able to see your body and sense it as an observer rather than someone who's lost in the sensations.

You observe the sensations as a witness.

Not judgment,

There's no good or bad here,

Just awareness.

And now bring your awareness into your heart center.

Feel as if you are moving into the space of your own sacred heart.

And imagine that you are breathing in and out of the heart,

Creating some space in the heart.

Bring to mind someone in your life who you feel really grateful for,

Someone really special to you,

Someone who fills your heart with sweetness,

Love,

Kindness,

Just to think of them.

Start to think of all of the ways that you feel grateful for this person.

Feel this warmth starting to awaken in your heart.

Maybe even feel a smile on your face,

A smile in your heart.

And now feel,

Imagine,

See in your mind's eye a beautiful,

Warm,

Glowing golden light in your heart center.

And if visualizing is difficult for you,

You can come to the feeling sense or the intention of this guidance.

It's okay if it's not easy to visualize.

Start to feel or imagine that this beautiful light in your heart is moving up from your heart,

Still connected to your heart,

But moving up like this beautiful tube of light up through your brain,

The crown of your head.

This tube of light expands above your head,

Becoming this beautiful cylinder of golden light,

Or maybe you see it as more of a crystalline light,

This vibrant light moving up,

Still connected to your heart,

But moving up into the clouds,

Through the atmosphere,

All the way into the stars,

Into the cosmos.

This beautiful pillar of light from your heart meets with a magnificent light in the stars.

As if you could follow this pillar of light from your heart into the cosmos,

You would find at the other end,

There is a light brighter than you can even imagine.

And this light is so familiar.

It's so beautiful.

And the more you see this light,

The more you feel the presence of this light.

There's a feeling inside,

A remembrance of something,

A remembrance of your own true nature,

This infinite consciousness experiencing itself.

You can feel that this light,

This presence of light is you,

Is home.

This magnificent light,

As bright as 10,

000 suns,

Fills you with warmth,

Tenderness,

Love.

Feel yourself welcoming this light,

Remembering this light as who you are,

This presence of I am.

I am.

I am.

This presence,

This light is the embodiment of every quality you long to experience,

Joy,

Passion,

Love,

Freedom.

All of these qualities are embodied in this self,

This presence of you.

And this presence is always with you.

How could it not be?

It is you,

Always loving you,

Always serving you,

Even in the moments that you feel the most alone,

Alone,

Afraid.

This presence is here,

Always loving.

We've just forgotten who we are.

And we've forgotten all of the gifts of the light of the presence of the I am that we are.

We've been looking outside for all that we long to experience.

We've been looking in other people,

Other places,

Other jobs,

Other sense experiences,

Other pleasurable experiences.

We've been looking outside because we've forgotten that everything we could ever want is right here,

Right here as you.

You can welcome your presence now.

See,

The presence is always here.

But in our human experience,

We have free will.

So we need to call on the presence,

Welcome the presence that we are.

Welcome all of these gifts that are our birthright to fill us,

To fill our lives.

So in this moment,

Imagine this magnificent light dancing in the cosmos,

Home,

You,

Self,

Source,

And begin to welcome this light.

See it,

Feel it pouring back down this tube,

This cylinder of light,

Like this beautiful cascade of light pouring down back through the atmosphere,

Through the clouds,

And pouring with all of this grace of light of life into the crown of your head.

Feel yourself opening,

Welcoming this light of you.

Feel,

See this light illuminating your brain.

The whole brain is vibrant with light,

Every part of the brain,

Especially the limbic system where all of these samskaras,

These deepest patterns and fears are stored.

And you don't even need to know what this part of the brain or any of the anatomy looks like to welcome this light of you.

This light is washing,

Washing,

Purifying,

Releasing the old and welcoming your light.

Feel,

See this light moving into the spine,

The spinal cord,

The whole nervous system.

All the organs of the body filled with light,

Vitality,

This source energy,

This remembrance,

I am,

I am presence.

All of the tissues,

The muscles,

The glands vibrant with light.

And again,

You don't need to know what this looks like in your body.

Feel your heart open,

Receptive,

Welcoming this light with your intention.

Feel,

See this light moving into the blood,

The bones,

Every system of the body,

Light.

Breathe deeply.

Again feel yourself welcoming,

Consciously welcome your presence.

Feel this light,

Imagine it moving into the cellular structure of the body,

Trillions and trillions of cells being enlivened with youth and vitality,

Vibrancy,

The original divine blueprint of perfection,

Perfect health.

Moving even deeper into the cells,

Into the DNA,

The quantum DNA.

Light.

Feel your entire physical body,

See your entire physical body illuminated in this pillar of light as the presence that you are.

Imagine the space around the physical body,

The subtle bodies are vibrating with this light.

And feel gratitude,

Gratitude for this presence that is you.

Gratitude to start to remember,

I am so much more than this pain that I've been holding on to.

I'm so much more than this body and all of these limited beliefs that I hold.

I'm so much more.

Feel that gratitude of remembering who you are.

And consciously welcome all of the qualities that you wish to be,

To embody in your life.

Welcome these from this presence of you.

Joyfulness,

The embodiment of joy.

Some absolute freedom,

Eternal peace,

Kindness,

Compassion,

Patience.

Passionate to live a passionate life,

To feel alive,

To feel connected to life as an embodiment of life.

Open this consciously from your presence to fill every particle of your being.

Relax the body for these next few moments.

Just allow,

Just allow this light,

This presence of you to love you,

To bless you,

To hold you in the light.

That's a good sacrifice.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

Begin to deepen the breath.

Even feel that in the breath,

It is this breath of light,

Of life.

Become aware of the space around you and the body seated,

Supported.

And as you become more aware of the physical body,

Maintain this awareness of this magnificent tube of light,

Cylinder of light,

Where your own beloved presence is always here,

Always pouring the grace of life into you.

And always here,

Always ready to serve you,

Should you just ask,

Oh my beloved I am presence,

My beloved self,

I welcome you.

Fill my mind with your peace.

Fill my heart with your love,

Beloved presence.

Fill my physical body with your divine youth and health and vitality.

Oh my beloved presence,

Thank you for healing all situations in my life.

Thank you for healing all relationships in my life.

Thank you for healing my relationship with myself.

Fill me with your freedom.

Fill me with your light.

Fill me with your compassion and kindness so I may walk lightly in the world.

Oh beloved presence,

I love you.

I choose to have a relationship with you.

I choose to welcome you into my being.

I give you permission to embody me as the light that I am.

Very slowly begin to move the body.

And as you move the body,

Feel like you're welcoming this fullness of life that you are into every particle of the physicality.

Open your chest,

Roll your shoulders.

And close your mouth.

Take a couple of deep breaths in and out to exhale through the mouth.

Take as much time as you need.

And when you're ready,

Slowly open the eyes.
