Hello,
Darling.
Welcome to this guided meditation,
Surrender into Softness.
My name is Sarah Shirley,
And I am your guide today.
So I invite you to get into a comfortable seated or laying down position,
Whatever you feel would serve you best for this next little while.
And begin to breathe deeply into your body.
Slowly and gently with each inhale and each exhale,
Really beginning to slow down your breath.
Breathing in softness and breathing out softness.
And with each breath,
Feeling your body begin to really relax into the space that you're in.
Bringing all of your awareness into this present moment.
There's peace here.
There's peace here now.
Can you open more to the peace and the softness that's already here?
And with your next breath,
I would love to invite you to breathe into any areas where you're carrying tightness or tension in your body.
Using your breath to draw in love into those spaces.
And where there's tightness,
Breathing in softness instead.
Surrendering,
Allowing what's here to be here,
To witness it and to bring love to it.
And so I want to invite you to imagine yourself outside in nature,
In a place that feels very beautiful and gentle to you.
Taking all your surroundings,
Breathing in the fresh air,
Taking a look around and noticing what's around you,
Listening to the sounds,
And just overall noticing what it feels like to be here.
What does it feel like in your body to be in this beautiful place in nature?
And whether you're in a forest or in a field or on a mountain or maybe even in the deserts,
Wherever you are,
I want to invite you to lay down on the ground directly on Mother Earth.
Just taking a moment to acknowledge the earth and her love,
Her presence,
The way she supports your body as you lay down on top of her.
And begin to allow your body to soften into the earth now,
Letting go of tension,
Letting go of stress,
Letting go of tightness or any areas where you feel hard inside.
And allow that just to melt down into the earth as she takes that for you and composes it turning into something else.
Continue to soften and continue to melt.
And just taking a moment to tune into why.
Why do you want to surrender into softness?
What benefit does that have for you in your life?
Will that help you be more open to life,
More open to receive?
Will that help bring more harmony and peace into your relationships,
Into your work,
Into yourself?
Why do you want to surrender into softness?
Just feeling that in your heart,
This intention.
And beginning to imagine a soft pink flower in the center of your heart.
This flower represents softness.
Just feeling that flower begin to blossom open,
Sensing it glow and expand as it spreads throughout your whole being.
The sense of softness,
The sense of openness to life.
Breathing into that flower in the center of your heart.
Just feeling the peace and the softness that's present inside of you right here,
Right now.
This is a feeling you can carry with you.
You get to keep this flower in your heart.
And in any moments where you're not feeling soft,
Where you might be feeling hard on yourself or hard on others,
Closed off,
Upset,
Stressed out,
You can place your hands on your heart.
Remember this flower that's inside of you,
The feeling that it brings.
You can breathe into it,
Just like you're doing right now,
Breathing into this flower.
One of the qualities of the divine feminine is softness.
Just take a moment to imagine more softness in everything and everyone around us.
Imagine if we all embodied more softness,
How much more peace and beauty would be present on this planet.
So just seeing,
Sensing,
Feeling that all around you,
Seeing the softness in others,
Softness in nature,
The softness in everything that you do,
Knowing how that ripples out.
Knowing how that ripples out to the rest of the world.
So continue softening,
Opening,
And allowing yourself to melt just a little bit more into the earth.
She's got you.
You are held.
It is safe to soften.
Taking a nice deep breath into your lower belly,
Filling up that area with softness.
Feeling your legs soften.
Taking a moment to acknowledge yourself for being here right now,
For doing this practice,
And for taking it with you into the world.
And taking another deep breath into your belly,
Beginning to feel your body awaken once again.
As you can start to move your body,
Waking it up and coming back into presence and awareness.
Thank you for being here with me,
For going on this journey.
And I hope that you're able to take it into your life as a practice of surrendering into softness.
I'm sending you so much love and so many blessings.
