Who are you?
Sit up straight and find stillness.
Let go of effort.
Be comfortable with imperfection.
Turn your attention to your breath.
Notice how you can do this with your attention.
Turn it.
Notice how you are aware of your breath.
What is it like to be aware?
Relax your inner vision down towards the space around your heart.
Breathe in and out from this space.
Feel your body expand and contract.
Expand and contract as you breathe.
Feel your body from all sides.
Feel the front of your body.
The side bodies.
Feel the back of your body.
Notice what it feels like to be with these areas of your body.
Observe how you can feel the back of your body,
But perhaps don't always include it in your awake awareness.
Keep breathing into the space around your heart.
Make an attempt to visualize your heart inside of your mind.
Just as with your body,
See your heart from all angles.
Look at your heart from the top down.
Look at it from the back body inwards.
Look at your heart from the front.
Can you visualize your heart from the bottom upwards?
See with your breath.
See the space around your heart.
Can you visualize this space?
Can you see the emptiness that suspends your heart inside of your chest cavity?
See the space between your heart and your rib cage.
See your breath surround your heart with each inhale as the space between your heart and your ribs expands.
See the contraction of your rib cage as the air exits your body.
Be with your heart.
Feel your heart beat.
Do it now.
Feel it beat in your chest.
Did your breath stop?
Keep breathing.
Be with the beat of your heart like thunder.
Be with the movement of your breath like wind.
Have an expanded sense of awareness.
Go beyond limits.
Be with your heart and with your breath.
Feel the expansion and contraction.
The wind of your breath.
The thunderous beat of your heart.
Ask yourself the question,
Who am I?
Who are you?
Don't answer the question with your mind.
Listen in to your body.
Listen in to your heartbeat.
Listen in to your breath.
Who are you?
Ask yourself again,
Who am I?
Breathe.
Expand and contract.
Expand and contract.
You are like the universe.
It expands and contracts.
While you breathe,
The universe breathes.
The universe is aware.
You are aware.
The universe has a heartbeat,
A rhythm.
You have a heartbeat,
A rhythm.
Be with your rhythm.
Be with the universe.
Who are you?
Are you the rhythm?
Are you the universe?
Are you the thunderous beat of your heart?
Are you the windy flow of your breath?
Who are you?
Ask yourself again,
Who am I?
Use your inner voice.
Ask loudly.
Don't be shy.
Ask yourself directly.
Look at your heart.
Ask your heart,
Who am I?
Am I you heart?
Ask your heart,
Are you your heart?
Who are you?
Ask your breath,
Who am I breath?
Am I you breath?
Ask your breath and listen.
Are you your breath?
Your eyes are closed.
Are you still you without vision of the outer world?
Who are you when you don't see out?
Is the you who sees in the same you who sees out?
Ask your eyes.
Who am I eyes?
Ask directly.
Am I you eyes?
There is sound in your ears.
Be with the sound.
Be with your ears.
Hear the noises from outside of yourself.
Hear the noises from within.
Hear your breath.
Hear the beat of your heart.
You can listen in and listen out.
Are you your ears?
Ask your ears now.
They have an answer for you.
Am I you ears?
Ask and listen.
Not to your mind.
Listen to your ears.
Are you your ears?
What do they say?
Be with your body.
Your whole body.
It is still.
You are not walking.
You are not running.
You are stillness.
Your body is stillness.
See your body from the inside out.
See your body from the outside in.
Are you your body?
Don't answer.
Ask.
Am I you body?
When your body is still,
Are you still you?
Is the you who is still the same you who moves?
Ask and listen.
Am I you body?
Feel the answer.
Be with your mind.
Be with your thinking mind.
Hear yourself think.
Attempt to see a thought as it appears in the container of your mind.
Can you see a thought in words or images?
Are you your thoughts?
Ask your thought.
Am I you thought?
When you ask,
You are not thinking.
Sometimes you are thinking and sometimes you are not thinking.
Who are you when you think?
Are you your thoughts?
I'm asking you.
Now you ask.
Ask your thoughts.
Am I you when I think?
See the space around your thoughts,
The thought container.
Your mind contains the thoughts.
Sometimes you are not thinking.
Who are you when you are not thinking?
Who are you when there is no thought?
Ask it to the space around your thoughts.
Don't listen to the thoughts if they answer.
Feel the answer.
Go beyond words.
Who are you when you are not thinking?
Are you the space around your thoughts?
Let go of the questions.
Let go of the answers.
Let go of thoughtlessness.
Let go of thought.
Let go of your body.
Let go of your ears.
Let go of your eyes.
Let go of the windy flow of your breath and the thunderous beat of your heart.
Let go.
If you're sitting up,
Lie down.
Lie down now and let go.
Just be.
Be the one beyond yourself.
Be the one who is.
The one who is not.
Be you.
See beyond yourself.
Go beyond yourself.
Rest here.
Rest in nothingness.
Be nothing.
It doesn't matter who you are.
Stop asking.
It doesn't matter who you are.
Find comfort in that.
Be empty.
That is all.
Take a few breaths here.
Now wake up from yourself and go about your day.
Namaskar.
